Studies is a flashcard app for the serious student. It's a tool to extend your knowledge, and it doesn't matter what you want to learn — a new language, medicine, law, history, driving, fine art, music — from simple day-to-day tidbits, to knowledge of life changing importance. Studies is an app to help you achieve your learning goals.

There are Studies apps for iPhone, iPad, and Mac (separate purchase), and they sync up beautifully via iCloud. Start studying in class with Studies for Mac, continue on the bus ride home with Studies for iPhone, and finish off on the sofa with Studies for iPad.

Modern Modern UI and better Math support

Adore the app but a modern UI is needed especially with other apps. And better support for math equations.

Lacks MathJax support

Anki import is a highlighted feature but this app doesn’t have MathJax support, so everything looks garbled. If you’re studying maths don’t buy.

Great for memorizing vocabulary

I mostly use the OSX app to enter new cards and the iOS app to study, and iCloud sync works great. When I do edit on iOS, changes also sync back nicely to desktop.

Not working as advertised

I have just installed this on a new iPad Air with up to date software. When trying to add audio to a new stacked note the app just shuts down. This is not a free app so I hope this bug will be fixed or I will be looking for a refund. I certainly won’t be buying the more expensive app for the Mac if this can’t be fixed.

Good, but some bugs

Really enjoy it. Best app I’ve used for flash cards so far. Only issue is bugs that occasionally appear, such as it shutting down when trying to add a new note. This occasionally renders it useless for a day or so. Only encountered it once, been using this for about a month.

Too hard to use

The app is really badly laid out and doesn’t let the user draw for questions and answers like you would with a cue card (for math equations, etc.)...

Excellent study tool

Great app for creating digital flash cards. Ability to add pictures and drawings is great. The major deficiency in this app however (especially compared to the Mac version) is the lack of rich text editing (meaning if you have rich text on a card created on the Mac app, you will lose it all if you ever try to edit that card on iOS).

Good for studying

This is a good app for studying. I usually put in all the terms i want to remember at the beginning of the term and quiz myself regularly to improve retention. It really has paid off.
