Stuff.co.nz Reviews

Ad blocks contents

Professore Une on

Hong Kong SAR China

Since App was updated the advertising has blocked access to the site on iPhone

A Very Poor Step “Forward”

Markxyx on

Hong Kong SAR China

Garish colours, poor response , poorly thought through design. Ditch this and go back to the previous.

New design is terrible

Jon Keelty on

Hong Kong SAR China

The updated version of the app looks terrible and has very slow load times. A complete downgrade and fewer options for users. I will be deleting it before long which is a shame as it was a “go-to” for me for over a decade.

Shallow reality TV reporting, not engaging enough

Seankennedy on

Hong Kong SAR China

Stuff doesn’t have enough unique local content. What it does have tends to be reporting on reality TV like Dancing With The Stars or on personnel changes in breakfast TV. It’s less engaging than it used to be and Stuff moderators tend to close down discussions on the hot topics of the day. I suspect that’s a cost-saving measure because they don’t have enough editors. It’s a shame because it looked as if Stuff was going to reinvent itself in the digital age, but it was not to be.

Well designed and easy to use

Zurcamny on

Hong Kong SAR China

Simple and easy to use yet has all you need. We thought out and well executed.

Freezes

Ewok’s Sidekick on

The latest version is very buggy. It won't allow me to scroll up or down fairly often, and then freezes up.

It took a bit of time to get used to the UI, then it became my daily source for NZ news on the iPad.
