Beautiful design, but the ads are so frequent that it renders the app not usable

What a great game , I am 82 yrs and love this game. I’m a avid crossword solver and li do about 6 a day to keep brain active . This color game is terrific, after 4-6 games since the day I got the Sudoku App, it is my daily go do for fun. So addictive 🥰👍

Nice looking app, but the ads are seriously out of control. And you can’t close them for what feels like a full minute. I was looking for something for my elderly (and very hard of hearing) mother-in-law to play while in the hospital but the ads were too frustrating for her. She kept asking how to close them and I kept saying, “You can’t yet!” I wasn’t going to charge her Apple account $20 for the premium edition so I deleted this one and found something much simpler, with less ads that only stay on the screen a few seconds.

Got an ad before even playing after changing to dark mode. Got an ad before even playing while trying to go into settings to change the difficulty, which apparently can’t be done. You developers did plenty to set your game apart from others but in the wrong direction.

I couldn’t get settled to play the game because I wanted to change the settings. Every time I did I got a new ad. I had three ads before I even tried the puzzle. I abandoned it.

I purchased rights to this app with no advertisement a few years ago. Guess that had an end or someone rewrote everything so that I no longer have that.

I like the functionality of the game. The ads that take FOREVER are so bad that I will just close the app and go to another one. The adds that more than the length of time I need to understand what it’s about are obnoxious. You have to wait til the ad is done, you can’t finish it early.

I’m sorry but who in their right mind in America would buy this app for $20??? I downloaded this app maybe 7-8 years ago. The ads were not that bad. Now, I feel like I can’t even play the game because I’m watching an ad every 10 seconds. I just downloaded onto my new phone & all I’ve done is watch ads in the few minutes I’ve sat here hoping to do some sudoku. What I like about the game is that it’s customizable in the appearance & other things. It’s easy to focus on each number you’re working on throughout the puzzle. But the ads just make me feel ridiculous trying to play this. I suckered down & thought let’s just buy it but at $20??! I’d rather buy an actual sudoku book. I feel like the creator took a great game & made it purely about monetary gain. Which I agree is important to an extent but this is just a ridiculous stretch.

I like the use of colored circles to help see what is missing.
