Description

Sunseeker is a comprehensive solar tracking & compass app. It shows the sun’s hourly direction intervals, its equinox, winter & summer solstice paths, sunrise sunset times, twilight times, sun shadow, the golden hour & more. The app allows you to add sun-event notifications & has a widget showing the day’s solar data & position on an arc. The surveyor view shows the solar direction for each sunlight hour. Sunseeker has both a flat compass view & a 3D Augmented Reality (AR) view to show the solar position & path.

Main Features
* Sunseeker is a sun locator which uses GPS, magnetometer & gyroscope to find the correct solar position & sun path for your current location.
* Flat compass view shows current solar position, diurnal solar angle & elevation (separated into day & night segments), sun shadow length ratio, atmospheric path thickness.
* 3D augmented reality (AR) camera overlay view shows the sun's current position, its path with hour points marked. Check golden hour using this feature!
* Camera view has an optional pointer to guide you towards the current location of the sun & help you with sun direction.
* Map view shows solar direction arrows, sun path & elevations for each hour of the day.
* Choose any date to view sun position & path on that day. You can view sunset & sunrise times for each day as well.

Fijn bij het foto’s maken, je kunt perfect zien wanneer er mooi licht op je object komt te staan

Solar Clock widget not readable

I love this app, and use it a lot on my iPhone and iPad. But since a recent update, the iPad version got less usable: the solar clock widget is always on my Home Screen, but the new design is not clear at all. The markings for the golden hour and the blue hour are minute, and they have too little contrast with the background colour. Also, it’s now impossible to see at what time the different twilights occur. The old design with the clearly coloured wedges was much easier to read and packed more info in the same small space. Please rethink and redesign this lovely widget!

Great app, easy to use

We use this app to get an idea where to plant certain plants in the garden. What spot is the most sunny and most shady. Also handy to see how to park your RV/tent etc. in relation to the sun.

Simply amazing app

I bought this app to place solar panels on the right location and to spot campground locations where we can recharge with solar energy, I read the reviews and it looked spot on was I was looking for and downloaded the app or actually the complete bundle because I trusted the developer and to sponsor the developer. After installing the app on my phone and my iPad I was amazed by the result this is exactly what i needed I set the time I get an arc in augmented reality where can see where trees would hide the sun on specific locations on a specific time and date simply amazing and well worth the money!

De app werkt niet met iOS 14. Hij blijft maar aangeven geen gebruik te kunnen maken van het kompas
