AR 3D functionality: SunOnTrack shows the sun’s position and path based on the orientation of your device with high precision. For identifying its orientation, your devices’ internal sensors are used. In order to achieve exact results, a calibration can be required by moving your device in a figure-eight-pattern and keeping it away of metallic objects.

AR not working

AR 3D error required sensor failed on iPhone 13 Pro. All permissions have been granted and AR 3D works on other apps. Camera engages and then immediately fails. Found that share location on your camera must be enabled, I never enable camera locations. You can always disable it again after using the app.

There are no instructions on how to use this app. The user interface is not at all intuitive. It’s impossible to tell what you are looking at in the app. I was interested in determining shadows on the roof from existing trees in order to plan a solar system. Obviously, I did not choose the right app.

Downloaded a few free apps and couldn’t get the info I needed. This app helped us plan our backyard pool in March, when the sun is very different than the summer months.

Shadow color

Seems great but can you change color of shadow to be seen against dark sat view?

Would love to love it. This app might be intuitive to some but not me. I could use a tutorial.

I found this app through a search based on a need to determine the left and right range of where the sun would set throughout the year. The app does exactly what I hoped it would and I’m very pleased. Had a question on operation and got quick and helpful response from the developer.

Beautiful, useful, and stable

Was unsure of how good the app would be, especially after having to pay upfront. But I’ve been thoroughly impressed with how beautifully designed the app is while being pretty stable. All the tools are here are useful, whether it’s for photography and film or just know where the sun will be in that new apartment (wish I knew about this before I moved into my place). So easy to go back and forward in time, which was my biggest issue with other apps.
