Superhuman Mail

I have tried Superhuman about 4 times now. Same conclusion every time. What it does… it does WELL! Really well! Developers are AWESOME! Marketing too. Product design not so much. Missing very important features. 1. Shared inbox for multiple accounts. 2. Does not prioritize new emails well. Meaning you can create split and automations but you have to train it over time like fancy outlook rules. Gmail and spark are the opposite. You can ignore ALL the junk and it will surface the needed stuff automatically so you never miss anything. This is the NUMBER ONE issue I have. I need an email client that when I have a new email by a new client or a new vendor, or a new support reply, it shows up as a priority email without me telling it to do anything. That is how I want a client to leverage AI and ML. Not to help write my emails. Bc I have my own process for AI editing… I don’t need a different one built in.

I’m using the app for my personal emails (business and private). However, recently SH has introduced teams. They have altered the UI making team features the easiest accessible features. As someone who doesn’t use these features, these buttons are in the way. It would be great if SH would check whether your subscription includes team features and enables/disables UI elements accordingly. However, SH doesn’t. The other features around inbox zero are great. AI search is good too. However, composing emails with AI is very disappointing.

Rarely do I write a review. Honestly, it’s not even a rare occurrence. It’s basically never. This app is valuable. Never have I hit 0 in my inbox since I’ve been in my career for the past 20 plus years. This is an amazing feeling knowing what I’ve dealt with has been completed. What I SEE in my inbox is what I need to deal with. I do use the schedule a bunch for good reason, and the unsubscribe is money! Really enjoying this app. Took me one week to get things cleaned up. No more 5k unread emails showing up in my life!

If you treat your email like a to-do list and you want to make sure that you’re getting the things you need done, the fastest way possible, then download this app. Take the training courses and don’t look back. Once you’ve conquered your productivity objective, tell every person you know about superhuman.

People get excited over superhuman. They do a great job of selling themselves but don’t be fooled into thinking this is a first rate product—their features fall short compared to those of other professional email clients. It’s Hollywood superficial.

Emails no longer load in exchange/microsoft with recent update under “other” (distinguish “important” or “priority”). Removed and reinstalled and still no loading of “other” email.

I love Superhuman. One of my favorites apps/software out there.

I’ve been using Superhuman for almost 6 months now. Love the app , but now it keeps crashing on my iPhone 15 pro.

This isn’t an email app for everyone. It is a premium email app for power users. If you have lots of email to sort through and love keyboard shortcuts, then this is the app for you.

I have signed up for Superhuman at least 3 times in the past 3 years hoping for the improvement in its functionality. It has improved in features that are already present among other email clients and its AI feature are subpar at best. I truly hope superhuman lives up to the price they charge yet it is a really long way to go.
