Why do I have to use a stupid app???

I can’t even register! My old modem there was no app. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. The box never mentioned the app for installation. After reading all the horror stories, I’m returning it. Now I’m forced to rent from Comcast.

Terrible products

Terrible products not worth the money a real big scam

If you just buy a modem all this app is is the manual and adds.

Doesn’t work for SB6190, no way to setup the router without using the app

Worthless App

One week ago, I was forced to buy a new modem, the only thing in stock was the Arris G34. The device seems to be working good, but this app is absolutely worthless. I can’t even get logged in. I had to use my computer to set it up. Perhaps surfboard should contact TP link and use their app. I don’t have any problem with any of my other routers.

Can only scan the device label and offer 3rd party tools

Seems Pointless

The instructions that came with my surfboard cable modem instructed me to download the app in order to activate and install the modem. However, all the app did was send me to the Xfinity app to activate it. Seems like a pointless app. Why isn’t there just a piece of paper in the box that says to go straight to the Xfinity app if that is who your service provider is? Installation was super easy and I’m thankful for that.

App is useless

This app offer no useful information or utility. When I logged into tho modem from a pc, it recommended this app for “better experience configuring and accessing new features…” it does t do any of that.
