SVB Mobile Banking-Commercial

For a bank riding off the startup and tech world, SVB’s tech is honestly appalling and totally 1990’s. I can never even log into the app; never, ever works. Have given up and resorted to using their Windows 95 style web experience; it works, although soooooo painful to use still.

Is this by design? Requiring username and password every time? It’s crazy annoying.

Fails more than half the time

Can’t access the top menu because it is behind the iOS status tray. As others have mentioned if you ever can get it to work the check photo capture feature doesn’t orient correctly to landscape

The app is still very broken for deposits. It’s been an issue for months now. And it’s literally the only thing I use the app for.

Where ever this is being devoted, they should fire the entire team. Since SVB was taken over this app has gone from bad to worse and today, you cannot make a deposit. Terrible app, don’t bother until they fix the basic bugs of being able to deposit a check.

just switched to an iPhone 15 Pro Max and the app doesn’t work as well anymore. It hangs during mobile deposit, the auto check capture function doesn’t rotate, and it seems that user testing wasn’t done very well.

Not sure if it’s due to a new update and if it’s strictly only affecting iphone users but the app is not optimized for pro max - the drop down buttons on the top left are covered by the iphone panel and cannot be clicked - basically rendering the app useless - not able to process wires or deposit checks is incredibly frustrating
