La app esta muy bien. Pero no esta en español.
I really started to enjoy cleaning and organising the house more with this app. It makes me stay more focussed on doing one task at the time and it has fun challenges that inspire to declutter!
Been using the app for just about 2 weeks. I’ve been on sick leave for 6 months and the house was a disaster. I’ve always struggled with routines and organisation and there are boxes of junk from when I moved home 8 years ago. I have also just started medication for ADHD, and I’m realising now (54 years old) why I find cleaning and organising so overwhelming. The app has helped me to set out routines for each room and I just love seeing all the green lines appearing. Still a long way to go, but this is absolutely the best app for me and it is keeping me motivated and stopping the overwhelm.
This app is great for its versatility in rooms and tasks, frequency, etc. and loved that part. The biggest downfall is that tasks only get from one to three points. There are some tasks that are dreadful to do, or harder for someone with a disability like ADHD, that really need more points assigned to it. It was a dealbreaker.
I love Sweepy and it has absolutely become a crucial part of my cleaning and care routine! Sweepy helps me with two main things- keeping track of the last time I completed a cleaning or care task, and motivating me to complete those tasks. I use this app every day and I love it! That being said, there is room for improvement, and I hope this app keeps getting better and better. I am so motivated by earning coins to buy furniture for my virtual house, but I wish there was a way to see all furniture available in the game. To clarify, I love that only a few items are available for purchase each day, and that the assortment changes each morning- it makes me want to run around getting things done when I see a special item in the store! However, I would really enjoy being able to see all the items (and the colors they come in) that *might* pop into the store so that I can choose favorite items to save up for. Perhaps there could even be a wishlist feature, and notifications for when a “wished for” item was on sale in the store, prompting users to open their app and get things done. Another change I would like to see would be a way to see my whole house and rooms without having to click on them individually. As mentioned, collecting coins for furniture really works to motivate me, but it’s a bummer that the rooms are only visible when clicking on your to do lists. I would love if there was a dollhouse-style layout wherein I could click on the individual rooms to be transported to them and their tasks, making beautifying the virtual home more important as I’d see it right when I logged on. I’d also enjoy a bit more freedom when it came to using my furniture. For instance, Why can I only have one toy in the child’s room? Why can’t I put a plant in the bathroom? If I’m not using the default living room floor, why can’t I use it in my bedroom? Why do some items display as different sizes depending on where they are placed? Maybe this is a premium feature, but I would really like to see the history of a task. Knowing the last time I completed a task is very helpful to me, but for some tasks, I need to keep track of more than just the most recent date it was completed. I’ve been using the very helpful “note” feature to just write down the last date before it is replaced by the “new” last date, but I worry that if I forget to do so, I cannot keep track of the history. Similarly, I am disappointed that there is no way to turn an “on demand” task into a recurring task.
App helps me stay on track with always keeping the house clean!
I wanted to like this app. My husband and I got it so we could organize our chores and distribute things more evenly. There are some features that work ok but simple things like adding a one-time task end up not showing up in your to-do list. So if I had a single task that is t recurring (ie: pay this bill), it doesn’t show up as a task that urgently needs to get done nor does it show up on either one of our task lists. This basically renders the app useless.
First of all, I absolutely love this app! It is, conceptually, exactly what I was looking for! Unfortunately, I feel it doesn’t quite deliver in a way that keeps my ADHD brain (or the brains of my neurodiverse kiddos) engaged. (I should note here that I am also physically disabled, and standing for any period of time, let alone cleaning, is challenging some days. Which makes this app both extra helpful, and at times extra frustrating). It is just a little unbalanced for one. The most you can get for a task, no matter how laborious or gross, is 3 coins. Items that come through the store often cost 30-65 coins. Nothing costs less than 5. Sometimes cleaning takes me literal days to recover from. So there are days I will clean until my body physically can’t do on anymore (or anything else for the next few days), and realizing I’ve only earned less than half the cost of a refrigerator. Even if I write down every last minor detail of the cleaning and set it to max difficulty/reward. This is not exactly inspiring. The store changes every day, which means you can’t really work towards a goal piece of furniture for your room either. The placement of furniture and wallpaper is clunky at best. Positioning is fixed to certain spots in certain rooms, which is ok, but if an item is already in use there is no indication until you try to place it in the room you are decorating. Then you have the option of removing it from wherever it is to place it, but there is no preview of what it would look like or way to undo that decision, meaning you have to backtrack and find where it was and put it back if you don’t like how it looks. Objects change size from room to room (and slot to slot) but you cannot choose to resize an item. Making many items much less versatile or attractive than they could be. All the rooms come with default furniture, walls, and floors, but those aren’t “real” items and can’t be moved from room to room (which if the rest wasn’t a pain wouldn’t matter, but it really does). The store only sells one of each item displayed each day, even for common wallpaper and floors. Meaning if you want the same flooring in multiple rooms it will take forever and some good luck. This feels very silly. What the game lacks most of all is a sense of reward agency. This is, in many ways, a self motivation app. But I can’t configure the app to be motivating for me personally, despite knowing what would help. Even just the ability to dole out bonus coin
This app has rewarding haptics/sounds and all the features I need are FREE! Reminders can be set (or not) and it’s easy to see/sort tasks by what needs to be done the most. I’m obsessed!
The app is easy to use and my cleaning is getting done. I can do cleaning all at once, or for it in, because the app tracks the tasks completed and remaining. Somehow that allows me to get more finished. And it’s fun to claim complete tasks. The customization is easy to use. After two weeks, I’m convinced. This is the app for me.
