Was good years ago- quite rubbish now

This app used to function well years ago. It is now complete utter rubbish. Be warned. My current phone is iPhone 15 Pro Max. The app does not crop automatically. Recent update improves slightly but still, does not focus well. Also, the order of documents when transferred from other app will be randomly re-arranged. Even if you were to spend time trying to re-order the pages of the document manually, you will be even more frustrated!… the pages continuously move randomly as you are trying to reassign the correct order! I have contacted the “support” several times over the past three months but receives absolutely no help. The app is still as dysfunctional! I would suggest best avoiding this app to avoid stress.

Works well as a scanner

Works just fine as a scanner, loses a star for putting links to their other apps in the app menu and the sign up stuff for marketing at the top of the main screen. At least put these things in settings where they don't get in the way of using the app. People pay for pro versions of apps to avoid the ads and marketing.

Identity Crisis?

Mobile Scanner? Swift Scan Pro? ScanPro +? ScanBot Pro? Who knows, and it’ll probably change next week anyway...

Works perfectly with iPhone No one needs a scanner at home.

Excellent App

Better than others I’ve tried. Settled on Scanbot because of its seamless connection to Google Drive. Very happy.

Fails in a key area

So having perused numerous reviews I purchased the Pro version to use scanning in a magazine collection. Instrumental in my decision was the OCR integrated in Scanbot as I wanted to have a searchable database of my scans. I fire up the app, scan 20 pages and click on the Text button so that the OCR process can proceed. It rattles through the pages and reaches 99% before getting stuck there. You can’t really do anything at this stage except exit out and when you return no text recognition has saved. Rinse and repeat, the same thing happens every time. I contact the developer and get a response saying this is a known issue and will be fixed ‘soon’. I go back to try and ascertain when soon might be so I can decide if it’s worth waiting for, no response. Checking the version history and it’s been a month since the last new update which suggests ‘soon’ has different meanings to different people. For a so-called Pro app to have one of its key features just plain broken like this is very shoddy indeed. Time to look elsewhere.

Perfect scan

First scan app that I have ever used, It does the job perfectly well. No need to look for another one. Love it!

First class product that is easy and intuitive to use coupled with amazing support. I can not recommend Scanbot highly enough. Great work guys.
