Really helpful in planning our days for our upcoming holiday!
The new update makes the app useless. If the app works (having many issues), you can only see one day at a time, which defies the purpose of the app where you could play around with itineraries that are more than one day long. I would give this app 5/5, but the new update does not deserve more than 1/5.
I have been using the Sygic (Tripomatic previously) app since the year 2014 when I really started to travel around the world. I'm an avid and independent traveller (not a tourist) who really likes to explore the rustic, quaint, quirky, hidden, attractive but also popular sites of towns and cities (moreover around Europe) on my own and inevitably mingle with locals of these places to thus get the truest and rudimentary level of understanding about the cities/towns I find myself in. The best aid that facilitated this learning experience for me was doing a bit of research through the Sygic app to get a feel and understanding of the city and its layout. See what areas are worth exploring due to my personal interests and recommendations given from fellow travellers, and thus prepare myself a tailored itinerary to my great delight. I have been an iOS user since 2012 and I have vast experience in smartphones and the diverse applications across all genres. I am not over-exaggerating when I say that for an application's informative & feature-rich offerings, Tripomatic was the best and my absolute most favourite application to use! I have most happily been a premium member of this app and I will describe why in two parts. PART 1: It was beyond user-friendly with its simplistic yet intuitive interface. It was colourfully vivid and incredibly informative. It was addictive in how it managed to get a user to learn more about cities and thus plan trips. It was a PHENOMENAL delight in how I could search up a city I plan to visit, go to the ATTRACTIONS list in its simplistic approach and study the best/quaint/must-see/hidden sites and monuments and then marvellously place them onto my day's itinerary. This for me was the highlight and Sygic/Tripomatic's most stunning and groundbreaking feature that made the app glorious to use. I could flick through pictures of any attractions, read their admission fees & closing times, get telephone numbers, read up on the lovely trivia and information and then add it to my itinerary or continue flicking through the various attractions. This could all be done from one place ideally with the fewest amount of taps, scrolling, searching and navigating around the app. Its presentation was so lovely that even if I wasn't travelling for a few months, I would take pleasure in swiping through attractions and monuments of beautiful cities simply to educate myself on places and their sites that I perhaps might want to visit one day without havin
I have used this app for just about every major city I visited and used to use it as my main itinerary planner for 3 years. The new version has completely changed that. Confusing menus and a different workflow for the day planner. The previous simple tile layout was 100 times easier to navigate in a rush. Sorry guys. If I could roll back my update I would.
This is the best app ever! Where has it been all my life :p 1 suggestion though : It would be cool if i have planned a day, that the app could tell me the approximate cost to do all the things planned for that day
Missing some hotels
The improvement I'd suggest is the possibility of proposing best ways to move from a place to another. Otherwise it's a great app. Congrat to the team
Great little app with lots of potential - interface still a bit confusing, but still the only app I could find to store a map with drive times between destinations. Admission fees are a nice touch
