Tabla is a Hindu percussion instrument widely used in Indian devotional and meditative music. It consists of a pair of drums, the smaller, higher-pitched DAYA and the larger, deeper-sounding BAYA.

The Tabla is a pair of double hand drums from the Indian subcontinent. Since the 18th century, the tabla has been the main percussion instrument in Hindustani classical music, where it can be played solo, as an accompaniment to other instruments and vocals, and as part of larger ensembles. Tabla is also often played in popular and folk music performances in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka. The tabla is also an important instrument in the bhakti devotional traditions of Hinduism and Sikhism, such as during the chanting of bhajan and kirtan. It is one of the main qawali instruments used by Sufi musicians. Tabla also appears in dance performances like Kathak.

The app’s page says Remove Ads for $1.99 but inside the app, there is no such option to remove ads

Nice music!

I really like music, and these are like drums! Instruments are my favorite!

Don’t want score in every 30 sec

While practicing it provides score in every 30 seconds, that’s very irritating specially, for the newcomer who wants to learn. While they are about to go in that rhythm, the score breaks at rhythm. You should allowed to control the speed of the loop while learning and practicing.

I have always wanted to learn Tabla. This app gives me hope. I hate disturbing others learning a new Instrument…it is best to let the Instrument speak for itself. But I love Indian Classical Music and this app helps me to appreciate it more!

This app has a fraction of Tabla’s features and it is plagued with excessive ads. For people who use such apps once in 3 or 4 months, it doesn’t make sense to pay monthly subscription. Just offer an option to make a one time payment for full version. Or offer an option to make one time payment to remove just ads. It says Remove Ads $1.99 on this App Store page but there is no such option inside the app. There is only subscription for $1.99 per month. The App Store listing is inaccurate. Thoughts?
