Bye bye Bento :(

With sadness, I bid farewell to Bento; my goto database program... Until now. I have found TapForms amazing. I have been able to recreate databases that were previously on Bento. Any queries I have had have been promptly and completely answered by the developer. My databases synchronise and back up as they should. Big thumbs up for TapForms

Impressive, fast, and simple to use

I wanted to bring records of the various beers I've tasted off of the “social” website I was using and back to being just for me. A key requirement was being able to record new tastings in my iPhone. Tap Forms does this easily for me. And between the Mac version & iCloud support (and ultimately if need be, SQLite), I can be assured that I will always be able to own and use my data. Now I'm thinking about other new forms I can develop to record stuff.

I love this app. Been using It for years. Very handy for important information. Bank accounts passwords license plate and registration. Any details you want at your fingertips without having to look in a filing cabinet. You can actually make forms using this app so I'm not sure why that was a complaint of another user and it seems professional to me, I can't see why this couldn't be used on a professional level, depends on what you need exactly. I give this app five stars. It also has a handy easy back up button now to back up your database that I think was an update. Bonus. I recommend keeping your data backed up. I had to get a new iPhone and forgot to back up before replacing it so I'm starting the database over again now and will definitely be backing up this time around, that was my own fault though not the apps. Great program, highly recommended.

Best database app out there

I paid for 5 apps before I found the one that works!

THREE SORTING FIELDS.... WIN OVER BENTO AND OTHERS

ONLY REASON FOR MY BUYING THIS APP IS ITS SORTING ABILITY, WHICH I SEARCHED IN BENTO (THEY ONLY HAVE ONE SORTING FILTER). FOR ME SORTING IS VERY IMPORTANT. STILL THIS APP IS EXPENSIVE I THINK, BUT I NEED IT, SO BOUGHT IT. ATLEAST U CAN TRY LITE VERSION FIRST TO DECIDE FIRST. WHICH GIVES U 15 ENTRIES. TAP FORM TEAM, PLZ DONT COMPROMISE WITH SORTING FUNCTIONS...RATHER TRY TO MAKE IT MORE BETTER. SMALL FEATURE, BUT POWERFULL JUST LIKE GOOGLESITES.COM FORMS.... EASY AND SIMPLE AND COMPLETE FOR SMALL PERSONAL DATABASE.

This app is great! Love it's simplicity, and the ability to integrate with spreadsheets.

OK-ish

Jan 2009: ver 1.5 This is a personal database app, not a professional database app. There's really NO "form" making in this app. It's good for holding small info about your personal stuff like passwords and addresses. I've never been a fan of this app as the creator has jammed in all the bells and whistles and not focused on the end-user experience. It's amazingly over-priced too! Defiantly a $1.29 app, and I wouldn't pay any more than that, knowing what I got for my $$$. This App looks good, but you can do all the same things with another app called StoreIT at a fraction of the price. If you are looking for a decent Database application for the iPhone, do a search for HanDBase or FMTouch, or Bento.
