It keeps crashing

The Taskpaper format is genius and the app is promising, but it constantly crashes soon after startup. I've sent an email to the developer two days ago and I'm waiting for the reply. Hopefully, I'll update this review with actual usage experience. UPDATE: Even though the developer never replied, I decided to give it another try. After re-installing, it immediately loaded my Dropbox folders from the previous outdated configuration and made a mess out of them. BEWARE.

Text-based todo list

There is nothing else quite like the freedom of the TaskPaper format. When you feel the periodic urge to reorganize the whole list, you can use any text editor to edit the underlying text file. Also, look into the search capabilities. Queries are quite powerful, and a quick way to see tasks in context. However, you will struggle with large lists.

Plaintext task management zen...almost

If you like a sophisticated plain text todo management app for iPhone/iPad, you must try this one. And I have not used its power with the search, tagging, etc. within it. A little problem: it doesn't like proxy servers when I try to sync with Dropbox, but the I hope the question is solved in the near future. So if you like plain text outlines for management, and manage text todo files in a simple notepad like in the desktop environment, you are at home with this app.

Taskmator is a great app to edit taskpaper formatted files on the go.
