How does anyone even become a handyman on this app? I’ve tried to reset my password about 10 different times. First I try to change my number because it has my old number but I’m not able to change my phone number. Then after resetting my password, I’m told my password is incorrect. The app seems like a great idea, if only you can get into it.
I noticed that the platform is displaying brand new accounts at the top of listings when sorting the Taskers by percentage of positive reviews. This is deceptive and a clear attempt to promote the lowest wage Taskers in lieu of the more experienced workers. Buyer beware: actually read the reviews.
Taskers CANCEL day of or under 24 hours beware. I’d rather hire someone from Facebook or Nextdoor.

They control who they let work on this platform by locking registration.
Taskers can cancel jobs the day of your appointment and task rabbit doesn’t assist with finding a new person. I booked a taster 4 days in advance, and we communicated up until that day and then 2 hours before the appointment he canceled. Don’t book with Sanchez J if you see him
iPhone 16 pro. Setting show notifications. So just doesn’t serve them.
Highly recommend that you satay away from this app. Tasker completed 3.75h task, but billed for 5h, because this was documented in chat section of app, I requested a refund which the company promised to issue, but never did. Hiring anyone on this app is like signing a blank check for this company to charge you whatever they want regardless of what services are actually provided. Use at your own risk!
I downloaded this app a couple of weeks ago in search of a handyman, but for some reason the app won’t accept my address. I figured it was a temporary glitch and the techies would catch it and fix it. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times in hopes that it would reset… but nothing in 2 weeks time. The app simply doesn’t work. Bummer. It was a nice concept, but I’ll have to take my business elsewhere.
We used them via the guidance or IKEA and the support from Task Rabbit was terrible.
