Taskrabbit - Handyman & more

I tried to install the app on my iPhone 15 Pro, running the latest iOS (17.5.1). Initially the app didn’t allow me to go past the initial guidance pages. I reset the app. Then it was stuck in a cycle of loading location data. I’ve tried deleting and re-installing the app twice, without luck.

After installation, and on opening the app, I see several pages of info. Skip button/link unresponsive. On the last page, no button/link responds when I attempt to move into the app itself or login. On 2nd opening of the app, I see a wait cursor at the top of the screen. It stays there. No connect to Taskrabbit. No links respond. The app is ‘dead’. iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (6th generation), os 17.4.1

Cookie banner with no easy opt out. Blatantly trampling over and ignoring our moral rights.

I can leave the tasker a review! annoying!

This morning Matthew came around to assemble a wardrobe and chest of drawers He arrived on time in fact a little early and proceeded to work. I used autofill to fill in my address for a task. Happens to be the one that is on my account. Somehow though it only took in the first line of the address and the tasker was sent to Bristol not London! It somehow picked an address and a postcode I didn’t know existed. Worse then their support person said I put in the wrong postcode - a postcode I’d never heard of? Finally when I try to reply I get an email back saying I tried to email an inbox that isn’t there. What a rubbish experience
