I love the rich and full sound this synth can create and the extensive modulation system allows patches with a lot of subtle, crazy or rhythmic movement to be created. There are many ways to create texture and depth in the patches, and with up to 4 VCO’s it’s possible to create some very fat sounds indeed. Personally I’m not keen on the sequencer or many of the sequenced patches which tend to sound quite trancey and I would have much preferred an arpeggiator, but that’s just a personal preference and I’m sure there are other ways to use it. A few more modulation targets e.g. on the xvco parameters would be nice but that’s a small thing.

Being playing synths for 40 years now. Got pretty much all the AUV’s, so why add this to your collection. The ability to directly patch most control knobs directly to a wide selection of transients- multiple LFO’s, multiple envelopes makes this a very flexible and powerful beast. Add to that 4VCO’s and additional sub oscillators and there is some serious possibilities here. Love it.

You get a lot of bang for your buck with this synth. Lots of knobs to fiddle with, all laid out in a way that makes total sense. Loads of modulation options. I got lost in this for ages. The FX ooze Toneboosters quality. Overall it sounds great. I think there’s more to come too, with a promise of more waveforms etc. Just get it!

This synth has amazing potential. The waveforms, oscillator features, ring modulation, filters, and fx are amazing! Even the formant filter so fun to use, and the modulation routings are extensive. Other than the lack of sync options, it sounds very close to my Novation Nova. I can’t wait to see what will be in the next update. I would love to modulate the LFO speed with the envelopes, and there need to be waveforms based on oscillator sync. Ring modulation between layers and serial filter routings would also be appreciated. ToneBoosters is one of the best app developers period!

True Analog sound. Super lightweight and solid. Used it for hours without a single unwanted glitch. Superb. Excellent work DEV or DEVs. Now just waiting for the VA drum synth from TB;-)

This app is so awesome & I highly recommend it. Improvement request: You need to make the Black Keys shorter so we can have more space on the white keys especially in the middle where the Apple slide up bar is. on screen keyboard is unplayable because of these two factors please make the keyboard better and this app would be perfect

Very powerful razor sharp sounds, unexpected quality fit for drum and bass or dem or anything really. Another quality synth for cheap as chips iOS prices! So happy with plug-ins on iOS and this one sticks out

…and extensively tweaking some presets. Rolled a few sound of my own and am starting to warm up to it. All of the harsh, blipity, digital crunchy presets are just not my cup o’ tea, I guess. But even those sounds are easily manipulated into something more my tastes with simple envelope and filter tweaks. The unison knob is just too tempting…really fattens it up. The UI is pretty friendly and easy to navigate. Quite nice effects. Formant bit is a blast. Okay, I’ll give it another shot.

Fully featured and most importantly sounds FANTASTIC!

This is my new favorite synth by light years. These TB developers are so smart, so forward thinking. You guys really did a great job on this synth and it sounds so beautiful, interesting and it’s super versatile once you wrap your head around the workflow. 10 stars.
