Teleprompter Controller

I want to use this app in conjunction with a soundboard on my iPad. This app would be absolutely amazing if it would split screen and have a horizontal orientation for the iPad. That would be everything I could need and more!

This would work so much greatly better if the controller could show the text on its screen. Without that, a studio assistant has to stand next to the camera and move the text by hand reading it backwards, and risk being in the camera's FOV. This is a great product but that awkwardness has me now searching for alternatives.

This works very well. I have the iPad setup in front of the camera on a reflector screen, and the iPhone in hand. The controller lets you speed up and slow down, stop the display. The best teleprompter setup I have tried. The controller is free but I paid for the iPhone app. I am happy with it.

I’m able to control the Teleprompter APP on my iPad and on my MacBook Pro with no issues. I’m using an iPhone XS.

This app does not work alone. App launches and the screen is frozen with no functionality. Many others with this same issue. This app used to run independently from other apps and with no connection to the internet after initial download (if you didn’t have access to WiFi for example)....why change the product to work differently in a negative way? Strange. Waste of money.

Pros: The app works as expected. I like the fact that I can have more than one project and the mobile app can see them. The app response almost in real time, close enough that most will never see any latency. Cons: After a few minutes I have to reconnect to the project from within the app. I would give 5 stars if the app would just stay connected during my sessions. With no updates to this app for some time now, I’m subject to believe they have abandon this app... Request: It would be nice to set a different speed when going in reverse.

Like other reviewers the Telepromoter controller doesn't work on my iPhones. On my iPhone 6+ it won't even load. I tap the icon but nothing happens. As the last update was in 2011 i wondered whether it hadn't been configured for the 6 so I also tried it on an iPhone 5S. On the latter it loads but it's just an image and none of the buttons work. This app and it's related app Telepromoter version 1.1 are potentially good but are not being maintained. Mr Luke Brody, the developer, is asleep at the wheel. Pity because he has something good here if he'd just keep things up to date.

why would you release this, it doesn't work, did you even test it? Such a simple product in that you obviously created it and if you created it it's simple to you, but for someone like me all I see is, your product is a failure. Go back to the drawing board fix it test then do it again! Then release it so there's can use it, that seems to be the goal as an inventor.

The app launches, then nothing. No buttons or sliders respond at all. It might as well be, if it's not actually, just be a photograph.

MacBookPro and iPhone 5s ... On same wifi network. Does not work. No way to trouble shoot. Please fix this.
