Tempest Weather

App has basically become unusable. Won't load on launch until app is backgrounded. Force quitting makes it not work again. Should be an easy fix but have been waiting for weeks.

Love the weather station. The app provides all history data needed and more for a residential owner. Integration with Rachio irrigation works excellent providing accurate weather forecasts at my home instead of relying on forecasts miles away. Great addition when integrating MyRadar. It’s nice to see accurate rain and wind results. Love the addition with the local radar map when rain is expected. Couldn’t be happier.

The ‘Done’ icon in the upper left hand corner of the screen for my Tempest weather station often doesn’t work. The app is a stuck on my weather station. I have to shut done my device to get the app to reset.

I have had weather stations to help support our ag operations for years and I am very impressed with the install and data. Tempest was super easy to install and connect and the app and weather network are incredible.

It keeps saying invalid location on the map and says refreshing

The ux choices in this app don’t showcase the weather data from your tempest station, which is sorta the whole point. The app for ambient weather is much better here.

This is a great system for the money and as they add new features it will get even better. One stop weather station and weather reporting.

Glad to see the widget restored in the latest version. Also enjoying the radar maps. This is my go-to weather app.

App crashes when trying to view battery data etc. The only way to view this data is on the web for my station. So it’s an app issue. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled, also restarted the phone, no luck

1) Install with app requires WIFI, tried without, multiple issues. Had to delete station twice before it was reporting well. (I could then wipe the hub wifi configuration by a toothpick in the hole by usb power. Not in any documentation or support ) 2) no phone support. Called when they said the were available, goes straight to auto message - no one available to take your call. 3). Questionable rain data - full sunny day outside, haven’t had rain for a month, it said it rained for 25 minutes. 4) wind and temp look good 5) share data. Per thier website, it says share data in your family via using the same account. Tried, no joy. On my wifes phone, it started to go into setup for a new station…. Seems the hub can only have one bluetooth connection at a time - no joy. 6). Bottom line. Sensor hardware could be great, but its all about the app software and the companies intent for reporting to the web. If your having difficulting setting up, just delete and keep trying. Support did not respond. 7). No idea how to get the app on my watch and actually work… Good Luck.
