Tesla Owner Must Have!!

ultraman0131 on

Malaysia

The is is the best Tesla app I have used over 3 different one! Just get this and no need others!

Easy setup but recognize my car wrongly.

Vaclice on

Malaysia

Easy setup the account but it wrongly recognizes my car. Instead of Model Y it stated my car is Model 3. Note to Developer: Can add it Waze or Google navigation and estimate the battery state of charge at destination?

Drive data dependent on cell coverage

*DelTa_SieRrA* on

United States

I started using this app mainly to monitor drive data such as drive efficiency, battery degradation over time, etc. However- found out the Achilles heel in this is the car needs to constantly be in cell range for the whole trip. I started noticing my trips would start getting chopped up into multiple bits with large sections missing all together where cell coverage comes and goes. Missing data = useless data. I started using tezlab and it doesn’t suffer this problem and is cheaper per month. I’m assuming they use the phone to pull data direct from the car in low cell coverage areas? I don’t know but it is seamless. I do like the automation features of Tessie, but will probably be canceling since data is trash unless your car is always driving next to a cell tower.

Worth the money

DaveBben on

United States

Usually apps with a subscription are an immediate no for me, but so far this is providing so much data I could gather from my vehicle it’s insane. Well worth it

Not worth it

Dabbl3s on

United States

I subscribed to it mainly for the Apple Watch key ability in my 2023 Model Y. It’s a bit buggy and requires persistent attention to get it to work on my Apple Watch Ultra 2. I don’t feel comfortable leaving my phone behind. It is NOT worth the continuous subscription for the unreliable convenience. I canceled. I would pay a one time fee just for the Apple Watch key access though with the hopes it would more reliably connect in the future. Edit: Thanks for the response. It’s an Apple Watch Ultra 2 and my car is 2023 Model Y. I keep all my software at the most current (non-beta) version of everything in my digital life.

Great with Home Assistant

thecroztm on

United States

I use Tessie with Home Assistant to begin charging my Tesla whenever solar production tops 3kw, and to stop when it dips below, so the car never pulls from the grid.

Better than the Tesla app

Fab365 on

United States

New Tesla owner here! I did a lot of research and when I found this app I must say I was scared of the price tag if you purchase our right but after a trail I saw the value. I recommend this app for any Tesla owner new and old. It’s way better than the Tesla app and gives me more details. The developers really did there thing with this app. I would like to see a future update specifically for Apple Watch but until then I will just add a widget to my watch. Even with that one item as a wish list thing it’s still 5 stars! I do plan on purchasing it in full at some point so I will continue to pay monthly as I know the value it provides. It can only get better with time but at that point I’m speechless bc it’s just that good!!

Apple Watch key is great

@XianHemberger on

United States

Very much appreciate how this App allows me to pair my Apple Watch (Ultra 1) and use it as a key- I am able to access my car when I leave my phone in the house.

Changed Pricing

Mr.Dez Bryant on

United States

EDIT: See original review below if interested. I had to restore purchases when attempting to integrate my watch or any other device. Thanks for the response. Changed the price on us! Loved the app until I get kicked out from my apple watch integration, all to find out it’s because you guys started charging $14 a month for it instead of including it in the $6 a month subscription.
