Wonderful dashboard clock
If you're coming to iOS from Windows Phone, and you miss the glance feature, this app is a good option (at least if you used Glance as a docked clock in your car like I did). It's a simple clock that (while disabled by default) can move up and down at an interval of your choice to avoid burn-in. You just need to turn that on when first using the app. It also overrides the auto lock and can be set to use its own brightness settings or the OS'. There's an effort by the developer to make the clocks as true to life as possible, which I appreciated. The digital clock has faint outlines of the rest of the display, like the real thing. If you pick the analog clock and set the second hand to tick, rather than hover, it will vibrate a bit, again like the real thing. I think the analog clocks aesthetic design looks a bit rubbish though, but that's just me. Otherwise, credit to the developer for implementing some love into the look of these clocks.
