The Courier-Mail.

This latest version of the news reader is rubbish compared to the previous.

I have given this app a good trial making the most of the free trial period. Unfortunately the poor build makes it sluggish and limited amount of news available on it makes it a complete waste of time. The print edition of the Courier Mail is known for its limited news and preference to rely on news feeds around the world, but this ipad app does not even come with a Queensland news section. Saturday's edition had as its main headline "Your stars for the week" with some fat guy with a beard prominently displayed. It then followed with world news about disasters fires and floods. If you live in Queensland you would find out more news by sticking your head out the winder. News Limited should seriously scrap its online paid content model if it thinks this is going to be a revenue stream. Poorly executed, woefully designed garbage. Avoid at all cost. If you paid for it, demand your money back.

Can’t listen to music while using this app because they have invasive videos that you can’t disable.

I have never had any trouble using all features of the app both on my iPhone or computer. The only beef I have is that the first paragraph of an article is the same as the heading. This means that you read the first for or five lines twice. This is annoying.

Wouldn’t recommend using app until they sort this out. Also wouldn’t be writing a review but no support contact for the app, just a simple help guide it seems.

Only writing the review to tell you about this issue: Bluetooth headset is taken over by your app, and turns my radio app off. All I want to do is read the paper whilst I have the radio on, when travelling on the train. Can you turn this off? Happens when you open the CM app even though you are not playing videos in the app. When listening to audio from a different app the Courier mail app takes over control of my headset and turns audio off.

We posted our mother’s funeral notice through the courier mail but when you view it in the app the advertisements dominate the screen and it scrolls independently making it impossible to read. Thanks a lot

Slow downloading and grammar and syntax of so called journalists who can’t even spell and grammar check the article . Repetition and filler articles are rife . Poor International content as well . If I could have rated 0 stars I would ! Go hire some staff that are not from Generation Useless , Stupid & Selfish !

someone needs to give me a refund ... first day overseas.. app said sorry must install new update.. whichever way it needs more speed where we are todo so ... ggrrr angry as to why we can't continue without this hassle ... for a certain time at least !!! Brigitte

I would give it zero stars if I could. Overnight I have been booted out. Can no longer log in as it was an apple subscription rather than the subscription I already pay for. Please fix now as I am paying for this.
