App not as good

Scotland52 on

Since there was a upgrade to this app a few months ago,I have to turn on the AUTO-HIDE READER NAVIGATION BAR SO I CAN READ PAPER DOWN THE BOTTOM everyday. I had to delete the app yesterday as was not working very well but my main complaint is navigation bar. Brian

Comments never work/download

Dancemaria on

Australia

It is extremely frustrating that comments attached to articles never download. There is always a ‘failed to download’ message. Why? Don’t have the comments if it’s impossible to read them. They don’t load on iphone, ipad or computer using the website.

For the last few weeks comments rarely load. Keep getting error message saying to try again later. Have deleted and reinstalled app but still has issues.

I like that your able to search certain things but I can’t save alerts for certain words, names etc so I’m alerted if an article occurs

They have a comment section under some stories but they censor the comments to suit them selves.

Love DTTV! Such a clever installation.

This is my new favourite, I don't have to search for the headlines any more - this serves me the content in the perfect format for my commute! No more eye strain either 😊

OK App But Has Limitations

Paross2008 on

Australia

I read several papers on iPad but find the DT version inconvenient in that I have to minimize a page to move to the next one and that switching from a digital page to a text one is too easy - the app is too sensitive. The move should require a double touch or a touch on a particular area of the screen eg the headline as per SMH.
