Data not accurate
I have just uninstalled the app.
Great UI, BUT the data for annual income is not accurate at all, more for me it had a gap of 17% for the yearly income.
For an app that aims to track dividends it’s a killer.
I have compared the data with my brokerage app and with 2 other apps to ensure its not a data issue.
Too bad
Amazing
this so convenient!!!
Horrible Customer Service and Constant App Issues
I’ve been paying for a monthly subscription to The Dividend Tracker for over a year, and it has been a terrible experience. Their customer service is the worst I’ve encountered emails are unprofessional, they don’t offer reimbursements for the app’s constant issues, and they never apologize. The subscription is supposed to include automatic portfolio uploads, but it often takes over a week for updates to reflect after purchasing stocks. I’ve been complaining about this for months, yet the app remains unreliable. If you’re serious about tracking your investments in real-time, this app is not it. I can’t wait to find a better alternative and unsubscribe. I also plan to recommend that other members I know do the same.Save your money this app is not worth it
Makes my life easy.
I paid for the year long premium version, and I love it. I strictly only use the app and in the beginning I had problems with the app updating. Now, I no longer have to link my portfolio because they fixed the updating and linking process. It’s link through my Fidelity portfolio and every 24 hours my new purchases and it’s amazing to see my annual dividends grow. One thing I hope they fix in the future is on the main page. I want to see how much cash I have to invest. Also, the diversification tab at the very bottom I want to see what percent does my cash make up in my portfolio. When I log into Fidelity, I have different numbersbecause they do account for the cash at its percentage. My premium version ends in April so if they make those changes, I’ll sign up for another year, but if they don’t, I’ll just log into the website and use Fidelity to get the accurate percentages and numbers.
Editing portfolio is unnecessarily difficult.
Great app and I information. BUT Why do you make it so difficult to edit a portfolio? When I first setup my portfolio, I could add the stocks and all the info needed. Now, to add more stocks, change amounts etc, you take me out of the app to a website to do it. And ONLY after I push a bunch of buttons looking for the options to do it. Serious fail here. Add some simple edit buttons in the app so I can freely change things around without having to search for 2 minutes looking for the options.. and then be taken out of the app to do it..
Waste of time
It’s annoying when apps advertise themselves as free and don’t show an in-app purchase but then you download them and go thru all the hoops to signup (which this one took about 30 minutes due to a email verification loop issue) only to find out everything is pay-walled. And there’s plenty of sites that offer what you’re pay walling for free, so you wonder what the point of this is?
Can’t find the stock
Went to add General Electric (GE)
It can’t find the symbol and I can’t put a space between general and electric to search it. So I can’t add it. Glad I didn’t buy premium.
Better apps exist
This app seems to be good at first glance if you’re unaware of all the better options out there. It has a really poor UI compared to others apps (Snowball and DivTracker) and nearly all features are locked behind a ridiculously expensive subscription. Don’t pay $14.99 per month for crappy dashboards when you could pay less and see more information presented in a more sophisticated way. Avoid this clear money grab.
Can’t Use This App With 2FA
This app generally has a nice UI, but if you have 2FA enabled on your account - and you should - you can’t use the app. Is this a joke? This is an instant full-stop for me. I don’t care what other features the app offers.
Worth it
I got this app especially so I can keep track of my dividend investments, it really doesn’t get any easier then just typing in the information it ask you and BAM you can see how much you’re making in a day, week, month and the whole year. But I must say few months it’s something going on with the app back then was couldn’t log in on threw internet now it doesn’t show me my dividends I have & how much they pay.
