Goes from intriguing exploration to some pretty hard mind focus puzzles
Enjoyable, atmospheric and challenging game. You need to be willing to follow the clues which are sometimes nestled among moderately lengthy book fragments but if you are down for immersive escapism a bit of reading doesn’t get much in the way of exploration. Worth the money because the developers have put more effort into each room/ area/ puzzle rather than repetitive copy and paste puzzle generation in other games. Toward the end gets almost to the point of ridiculous in complexity of puzzle but fun if you can work it out. Beautiful Erie game.
Fiddly and Frustrating
They were making much better games of this format 20 years ago.
Looks nice and feels open world at first, but you’re quickly locked into one boxy puzzle area at a time.
Nothing makes any sense, for example a lever built into the wall opens a wooden chest that is resting on a chair.
You try to navigate through a doorway and you load in the middle of a room with no idea where you came from and you’ve passed loads of things of interest in your way.
There is also a loading lag when zooming out.
It’s no wonder it took someone 30 hours to complete.
HELP!!
Great game but when I got to putting the smaller and smaller paintings into the big one, the notebook kept opening instead of choosing the paintings, so restarted my phone. Success with the paintings, but lost ALL my inventory and collections. Start all over again? iPhone XS iOS 14.3 btw.
I phone 11 notch
The notch on the screen hides some of the items on the left hand side !! Needs fixing !
SO hard but not unenjoyable
This game is huge and seems to go on forever. A lot of work has obviously gone into it! But as others have said it’s impossible to do without a walkthrough as there is nothing intuitive about the puzzles. Even when you’re shown the answer they still don’t make sense! most times it involves finding some ultra hidden little dot. So yes very frustrating, but I am persevering with it and certainly feel I am getting my money’s worth!
stuck
might have been a nice game, but after 10 minutes I lost ability to pan back so effectively stuck in one scene. gave up as no help available online. i’m playing on ipad. so others might have more luck on a different device.
Monotonous
I have no doubt that technically this is a very good game but it is the most confusing, muddled, boring and monotonous game that I have ever played. It reminds me of The Talos Principle but comes nowhere near the professionalism of that game. It is also not in the same league as all of The Room and Davinci games all of which I have completed. The problem comes in that the story of the planets and stars together with the logic is totally flawed. There are no help or hints to assist other than looking on Google for assistance and at least 70% of the game has to be researched via this avenue. Unless you are persistent, as I am, then few people will get to the end of the game. I do not regret the £4.99 that I paid for this game but unless you have dogged persistence or endurance then save your money. I gave it 4 stars for its technical ability but as far as enjoyment is concerned I would give it 1 star.
***
Having now completed this game in just under 14 hours I have to say that it is technically brilliant but very confusing and in conclusion I would say that it is the best worst game that I have ever played. Many people will be disappointed.
Reminiscent of The Room series
An excellent game that is well-thought out and very challenging. I played it on max difficulty and it took over 30-hours to do!
If you get reall stuck, Google is your friend. I only had to do this a half-dozen times and was quite pleased with my effort.
There is stuff hidden literally everywhere and so you’d better have an inquisitive mind and a high level of patience!
One of the best games i have played in a long time and i highly recommend it.
Excellent graphics
I’ve enjoyed it more the longer I’ve played it. At first I was irritated that it’s not nearly as intuitive as the Room, which sets the standards higher than any game I’ve played of this type. However, the graphics are amazing and the puzzles good. I would have liked clear hints as have spent ages tapping in every room over and over again, wondering if I’ve missed something.
Amazing game
Omg it’s hard though and I had to use a walkthrough now and again for help as I was struggling!! Brilliant though
