The Japan Times ePaper Edition Reviews

Really good app

yoovraj on

Japan

Seamless switching between text format and paper format with text to speech. I just love reading the digital print on iPad. Keep it up.

Good read experience but auto download is broken

ifallnicknmesaretaken on

Japan

Reading is good but Auto download feature doesn’t work, it always says network error and so my newspaper is not there when I open the app.

Not up to date

Citrontokyo on

Japan

Today is Sunday but the latest available issue is Thursday. When it works, the app is a nice alternative to the webpage, but it lacks feeling of being reliably up to date. What is the point? Who wants to read back issues of a newspaper?

Stopped working

yuhdizzle on

Japan

I’ve had a wired run in with this app in the past but the app stop working all together today. It doesn’t even open. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled it and yet still doesn’t open. I’d like to request to ge fixed right away

certainly worth it

Dan(ny) the man on

Japan

sometime slightly buggy app (formatting of article is off, won’t download an issue until closing and reopening), but it gives the feel of the printed paper and the content is of course excellent
