I based my wedding planning off this app! It was the best decision ever. As always wedding planning can be stressful and overwhelming, I was super overwhelmed in the beginning when every idea was being told or poured into me and I would need breaks from discussing anything wedding related because of how intense the stress was. The Knot helped me in a way to be organized. To check off what is needed and what comes first and next. It created more stability and taught me how to prioritize what’s needed at this point of planning rather than what I can wait on to discuss. Thank you for this app and website builder, it helped immensely and was at no charge. Highly recommend

Heather was a dream to work with. We had a small wedding and therefore only needed a small cake. I don’t know what I expected but this gorgeous cake didn’t look “small” at all. The flavor was outstanding. The decorative buttercream and roses was perfect. We changed flavors a few weeks prior to our wedding and Heather was incredibly accommodating which I appreciated because I can imagine that is probably annoying. The vanilla bean cake, filling and fresh strawberries was a hit! The delivery went smoothly and everything was perfect. Unfortunately, I failed to communicate to the restaurant staff at The Santa Barbara Inn’s Convivo Restaurant that we wanted to serve both tiers! We weren’t trying to save the top tier for our anniversary. We only wanted to save to save a slice, especially since we ordered a small cake! That’s 100% my fault and not Heather’s. Sadly, we didn’t have anywhere to store the top layer and my family had already left the venue with the slice to be saved and frozen for our one year anniversary. All of that beautiful cake had to go to the trash, it didn’t survive not being refrigerated for 24+ hours. I only mention this to caution others if you’re in a similar situation. I don’t blame anyone but myself. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding cake from a wonderful woman who is an absolute artist and a wonderful to communicate with. Very disgusted with this app. While it builds beautiful websites for your wedding, there are no directions and if you don’t do things exactly the way it expects no one‘s going to get an email notifying them that there is a wedding and RSVP is so particular that most people aren’t able to complete it. with all the time I have spent on this I can’t imagine if I were having a large wedding what it would be like to try to find out if people are coming or for them to find out about your wedding at all

The Knot is such a great resource for planning our wedding. The resources are endless and we didn’t need to use all of them, but we used many! The site helped us manage communication to our guests, order paper products, select and track registry including making cash gifts easy and lastly tracking our thank you notes.

Can’t believe this service is free. I was procrastinating due to feeling overwhelmed in starting to look for a vendor … but got on the knot and after taking their aesthetic quiz, it paired me with several great venue options. With their easy messaging system, I was able to find a venue, a photographer, and a caterer within less than a week, while also setting up appointments at a few bridal shops for dress shopping. Their free personalized wedding website, checklists, budgeting, guest list planning … all incredible resources!

The knot app was absolutely phenomenal. Helped us find all our vendors and their reviews. I love the tips it provides, personalized wedding website, registry and more. Truly helpful. There were some glitches, I had some guests RSVP but on my end it showed they did not so I had to manually enter their response. When I would upload wedding party pictures it would not save through the app on my phone but when I made the same edit on the laptop it worked fine. Little inconsistencies but not too disruptive. I would recommend this app to anyone and everyone.

I absolutely love how you can make yourself a free website with tons of pretty templates to choose from. Also the type layout makes all your information look organized and easy to read. I love the pie chart where you put all the different categories and how much they cost and how much you’ve paid. I also love the guest list and all the fields for adding address and other contact info. Wedding planning is a big project but this app makes it less daunting by having all your asset’s organized. Everyone getting married needs to use this app!!!

I love the knot sm but it needs improvements .. especially in the invitation area because it’s soooo slow and always fights me
