I’m a paying customer. Subscription is cheap, just as their news content. They have a specialty of recycling over and over the same article or the same topic … endless times. Sometimes with a different title, sometimes bundled up with a previous topic to make it look new… As for the app, it’s catastrophic …

News and everything in my opinion is great, what is not its the app, I think it needs many options.. like changing from the settings white or black theme as the black theme does not look really good.. and also what it needs its a modern minimalistic re-design. I hope this will help the dev. Best regards!

This Publisher tricks you into paying

COSTS! If you read the description as well as the Apple INFORMATION section, there is no mention of subscription costs. Why? Because this Publisher deceives by signing you up then you have to become a “Member” to read 99% of their content/stories. Even crucial information about Covid19 isn’t completely shared. (As they once bragged that they do!) Every app, especially news and magazines, will mention subscription fees in the corresponding Apple app information section. (And, every news provider on the planet, except The Local, removes their paywall for Covid news) Apple needs to address this issue. Having said all that, the information they publish looks quality and helpful for expats. It’s just too bad the biz side of it is a greedy deceitful mess.
