The Lord of the Rings: War

Overall this is a great game, it has drawbacks like rss are not balanced and the drop rate of Heroes and stuff to buy is overpriced but you can almost be productive if you just FTP and grind grind grind.

There used to be cool villian armys now you just deleted them and only kept the hero sides

I really like this game but new updates made it no longer a wonderful game however i still love the concept of Lord of the rings in any situation.

I have seen advertisements for the game showing players are able to play every single faction from the beginning. I have App Store and not Apple Play, so is that the reason why? Otherwise has been a good game I just want to be the bad guy for once.

While this game has some good qualities, much more should be done. The following lists concerns/suggestions that I, and other users, have made, as well as some of my personal thoughts: 1)Gameplay isn’t accurate: the games trailers and website portray this as a cinematic, in-depth experience for the user, who can play as their favorite characters and lead epic battles, but this is inaccurate- combat is not 3d, it is only small icons fighting, and you have no control over the army in battle besides choosing commanders and troops. The landscape doesn’t appear during combat, and the existing landscape is very flat, instead of being immersive 2)This is not an RPG: as previously noted, one has no control over armies, and thus has no control over characters in the game- you cannot play as a character or carve your own path or do quests. Instead, you meet requirements of the “campaign” that ends in 2 months 3)Costs are often advertised- it is very difficult as a non-paying player to succeed when lots of gems and resources, as well as other benefits in the game, all cost money to obtain 4) Control over a faction is limited- instead of controlling a whole faction, you only control a single settlement (which is not even 3D or immersive in any way) and have to keep competing with other players and getting excessive troop amounts or spending money to gain control over an entire territory 5) developers do not adress many concerns- I urge these developers to seriously work towards improving the game based on what users have recommended, rather than adding additional campaigns when players complain about the game being pay-to-win or having completely different gameplay than what is advertised- I would like to play this game, but it needs to be better

I’ve tried to submit this review so many times. This game destroyed one of the best games I’ve ever played when they came out with 2.0 changes about two years ago. They continuously delete my comments on the App Store. Do not play this game.

I really love the game however there always updates and changes which are good but if there is a glitch that starts getting ahold of them to tell them is difficult so I’m putting it in here I go by the name beastmaster we can’t get past chapter 15 because even though we completed the trial it doesn’t show that and won’t let us go past that ever since the new trial system please update that glitch

Very good and very challenging game.

Great concept and a good setting. Sadly to get the most you have to be in a fellowship. The leaders of these fellowships expect you to be always active and always moving, or you get kicked and screwed over for the rest of the game. If you feel like you can constantly contribute hours a day to a season then I’d recommend it. If not sadly this game will be little fun.

Why don't you add the Arabic language? Is it because there are not many Arab players because I am an old Arab player in this game?
