The Quest

The Quest ist ein wirklich schönes und rundes Rollenspiel. Es macht Spaß, verzeiht Fehler und bietet eine große, offene Spielwelt.Alles in allem eine volle Empfehlung! Einzig ein paar Quests haben logische Lücken (wie soll ich denn drauf kommen, dass der Mörser im H******** ist???). Ein kleiner Wunsch an den Entwickler: es sollte dringend eine Funktion eingefügt werden, die den verkauf von Gegenständen (zum Beispiel Pflanzen) im Bündel ermöglicht!

But the game just doesn’t let me. The quests are mostly stupid and questionable (why the heck should I act like this?) and contain constant running from A to B (and back to A). The leveling system reminds of Might & Magic but that’s also a problem: there are no respawns (at least not up to level 7) and that means no grind. Which leads to almost no choice where to go next. If you don’t follow the questline you simply encounter enemies that are too strong. And this means that the whole leveling system isn’t necessary. You are effectively put on rails. Does this change further in the game...?

Huge game. Interesting tasks and many things are going on.

The Quest HD ist an sich ein sehr gutes Spiel, es macht wirklich Spaß! Das einzige was wirklich Schade ist, dass es keinen iCloud-save-Support gibt, ansonsten alles top!

How this isn’t top rpg on the store is crazy. You’ll like if you grew up on games like ultima/morrowind. The game often lets you figure things out and doesn’t hold your hand, which judging from others reviews people don’t like using their own head, they like being shown and told where to go and what to do 24/7. Over all pick up base game and fire and ice expansion, you’ll have more than enough playtime. If you find yourself itching for more, there are many more expansion packs. Cheers.

If you’re a fan of old school rpgs, you’ll love this game.

I absolutely adore this game, and have for many years. but I can’t in good conscience give it more than three stars as it consistently crashes on my iPhone 12.

Just purchased The Quest: Deluxe pack. I can’t believe my luck! After Celsius Heroes left the App Store, I was certain I’d never find another game like it! So, it’s very refreshing to find so many dungeon crawlers live right here in Redshift land! Thank you so much! 👍

So much fun, spent two weeks without reception/wifi and this game provided plenty of content and story to work through while I was out there. Tons of replayability, really enjoy the aspect that spells are still useful even in a rogue build. Worth the money and then some.
