Well worth the money and plenty of fun exploring the world

The game is tile based where you have one character rather than a party. World is large (expansions add to that), bestiary is reasonably varied though a lot is just re colouring of previous graphics. Quests don’t appear that much, could have had more of them. Combat is ok, though most enemies use ranged. Character build is based mainly on character selection, you just up the primaries for that character. Fairly good amount of loot. One word of caution, the two pack is not bad value, but when you look at the raft of expansions, each at £3-4 each it starts getting expensive. Could do with a season pass option, or complete option.

A great old school fantasy RPG with lots to do and a good sense of freedom. Great fun. I'm glad to see more of the content from the old iPhone version being ported to this funky new iPad version but there is so much more. There are over 20 expansions to this game, it's a beast. Keep it coming guys!

At first it was difficult learning how the game works and it’s mechanics but now I’m hooked... Turned based combat, alchemy🍃, magic spells🔮, open world🗺 , quests, dungeons and caves, shops and taverns! You name it and it’s here! This is the first time playing a Classic RPG and I love it! Since I am a fan of the Elder Scrolls this is Just heaven, new world and new quests and stories which will get you hooked for hours! I’m glad I can play this on my phone. If you are looking for a RPG with a open world where you can choose from different weapons and classes then Merry Christmas

Stumbled across this on the App Store and it's a little gem. The graphics are lovely and bright, the sound effects are perfect and the gameplay is turn based so you don't need lightning fast reflexes to be able to play which is great as, being a mature player, I find the newer rpg's (on pc) impossible to play. There are loads of quests and the gameplay is open so you can explore the world at your leisure. I've been playing for a couple of weeks and I've still got loads to do. Worth every penny and if you like an "old school' rpg you won't be disappointed.💀⚡️

Nothing like it on App Store or anywhere else. Easily in the top 5 rpgs on iOS period In fact some would argue the quest series is some of the best rpgs ever made bar none...that's how amazing a game this is. This is a rare game where I would say forget reading reviews and just buy. An epic journey is waiting...

I've played many RPG, including J-RPG like final fantasy, dragon quest series and D&D stuff like Bauldur's Gate. I can tell you this game is a jewel hidden in the shell and is definitely one of the best I've ever played in my life. I am pretty surprised that there is no review here. I think it is likely because of its old school graphic style which made me hesitate to buy it at the beginning. I am glad I eventually bought it and realised that the graphics style is actually quite good in the game. The best part of this game is you can just explore your way in an open world and make your own choice while solving quests. Also you have much freedom to create and build your own character. The story line is very good as well with dialogue beautifully made. I have to say I am very satisfied with this game and would love to see more of it in HD version. Good job! Redshift! Please keep doing it! By the way, I play this game on iPhone 6S :)

Hope all the expansions come to ipad

I had this game for the iPod touch many years ago and it was one of the best RPGs available for it, if not the best. Great to see the game given an overhaul and made available for the iPad, visually stunning and every bit as good as it was before. Look forward to the expansions now!

Very boring, slow jaggy movement. Graphics are pretty good, but the gameplay stinks.
