Not everyone 20 vision
Don’t while I don’t mind the app You’re Developers must be all in their teens and have perfect vision Well guess what not everyone has 20/20 vision and can see small print While i am getting older my eyesight is not getting any better and so with your update, may l respectfully request an extra setting in the display settings and that is to increase the size of the font and maybe the actual font itself, it would be most appreciated by folk like me thank you
Great formatting.
User friendly & informative layout, great font choice !
SMH rules!
Best journos and best crosswords!
Important investigative Australian journalism
Up to the minute in-depth analysis
The app is garbage
Video clips don’t play. The format is terrible, the most basic file structure clearly designed to push you to upping your subscription to pay for “Today’s Paper”. There’s no “Breaking News” even though SMH is no owned by Channel 9 - most of the articles are as old as yesterday’s newsprint.
Was really hoping for a lot more…

A really good paper, honest, accurate and well written, keep up the good work
Quite a few technical shortcomings
The app is quite limited compared to accessing via a browser:
- can’t zoom in to look at graphs/charts/images in greater detail
- video aspect ratios are locked and don’t expand to fit full screen when you rotate your phone
- news category sub headings aren’t actually links and won’t navigate you anywhere

Great newspaper in hard copy and on line. National and international news well presented. And sport of course! And I really enjoy the cryptic crosswords!
