Almost every time I open one of the articles that appear in my notifications, the app takes me to the last article I read without opening the intended article. If I go back to the home page, many times I cannot find the article I received in notifications.
It's not a native app, more a framework to display their mobile website. Reading a story causes page to suddenly go white, as it's trying to load yet another ad. Poor execution.
The content is excellent however nobody apparently bothers to support the app and eliminate the bugs in it. Upon selecting an article the dotted download circle goes round and round and doesn't stop. The only way to stop it is to exit the app altogether. Several times I have had to delete the app from my iPhone and download it again which seems to provide a temporary solution. It's a pity because the content is excellent and insightful. So until they debug the iPhone app I will read the Times of Israel from my laptop
