The Witcher Tales FAQ
Is The Witcher Tales free?
Yes, The Witcher Tales is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is The Witcher Tales legit?
⚠️ The The Witcher Tales app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
I own this and now gog is telling me to buy it again. I’ve followed up with Apple support. Following a re grant of purchase the app still doesn’t work. Given the lack of developer response here I will be contacting cdpr directly for resolution.
Game is broken
2nd battle without training wheels me I’m literally up 80 points and it’s automatic defeat every time when I get to 1 card, makes no sense, happened multiple times, this product has been abandoned
Gwent was fun, this is not
The game is basically a series of puzzle Gwent matches. That seems like a fun idea, but the puzzles feel like they’re designed to require a very specific set of actions and cards to win, so the match is less about clever strategy and more about frustrating trail-and-error until you find the exact series of actions required to win. To make things worse, each match starts with random card draws, so if you don’t have the cards you need you can lose before you even begin. But the final straw is that your AI opponent seems to have a massive advantage over you in every match, like you’re a beginner playing against a pro, so you never just lose, you’re crushed in defeat every time in a way that makes the game feel impossible and hopeless. Gwent is a great multiplayer card game, but unfortunately this single player spin-off just feels wildly unbalanced.
CONTROLLER SUPPORT
I would like to play with option of no touch screen on my backbone
Needs offline support
Dear Devs, I would buy this if it came with offline mode and controller support.
Very Fun and Enjoyable Story and Gameplay
I don’t understand the negative reviews. I’ve played all the Witcher Games, and play the separate Gwent game. The story telling of Thronebreaker is really good. Some of the puzzles are pretty challenging and most are fun. The story battles can be difficult, but are always enjoyable. One solid play through is roughly 60hrs of gameplay. Definitely worth the $10 price tag
The best
I have never played card games, but I love The Witcher and I really liked this game. Probably the best game I've ever had on an iPad. Thank you CDPR!
Error
Download this several times still couldn't play it Why!!!
NO OFFLINE OPTION??? Thank god for reviews before I purchased.
I love the Witcher series and am a fan of cdpr’s console releases. But after checking reviews and for myself by going on airplane mode to see thronebreaker CANNOT BE PLAYED OFFLINE I was bummed. I will be traveling and was looking forward to play this game but the online purchase validating does nothing but sabotage the potential of thronebreaker’s mobile port. Sad because this is easily a five star game but corporate greed ruined it. Save your money fellas.
One of the best games I’ve played
It’s a great game, the scenario, music, voices, and story are nicely elaborated.
It reminded me of my times playing The Witcher; and you can guess who makes his appearance of course and who knows, maybe you will learn a few more things about his past 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
