The Zebra Club

Description

The Zebra Club was set up in 2019 by Jeannie Di Bon, an internationally recognised movement therapist for hypermobility. Jeannie has hEDS, POTS, MCAS and chronic fatigue herself. Together with her 16 years of clinical experience working with the hypermobility community plus her lifelong personal experience of living with several chronic conditions, Jeannie wanted to create a solution to help the community.
The Zebra Club has been assessed by the Organisation for the Review of Care and Health Apps (ORCHA) - the world's number one technology provider for delivering safe digital health. The Zebra Club Reviews

Save Money. The Best Cues.

Schmitty2456 on

This app is going to save me so much money! I have spent thousands of dollars on in-person physical therapy with an hEDS specialist and they are great, but after one month of using this app, I made mental and physical connections I didn’t make in two years with my PT. Getting instruction from someone who has hEDS is more important than I would have thought. Because Jeannie’s body is hypermobile she can show examples of how not to do it. And her verbal cues make so much sense because she knows what it feels like! After three months of The Zebra Club I have reduced my in-person PT from once a week to once a month. And there are no words to describe the community of supportive people here. It’s a community of people with EDS who are actively and successfully improving their minds and bodies, therefore it’s so much more positive and uplifting than most online spaces. I had initially signed up for the monthly plan, but quickly switched over the lifetime plan. Best money I’ve spent in years!

Life Changing

Finally, someone understands the pain and struggles of living with hEDS and more importantly knows how to fix it. I started 3 months ago and am now living pain free. Never thought I’d see the day.

Supportive Community

Very grateful to this community for all the support, as well as the exercises & movements that help me stay active in all the right ways. Thank you, Jeannie!

I’m so thankful

Im so grateful this hyper-mobility/EDS community app has been developed. It’s a safe place with like-bodied and like-minded people that are so helpful. It offers such diversity. I love the community chats, the classes, programs, lectures….it’s the real, full deal.

Game changer for me

Mollsmolls on

Recently diagnosed with hEDS. Had years of getting injured doing workouts and not improving in Pt. Jeannie DiBonne helps me understand why. Her workouts are actually working for me. I thought it would be slow and boring, but I actually feel better and have a “good hurt” with her explanations and guidance. I wish my pts and fitness trainers would study her. She’s taught me to go low and slow. That the breath is the core stabilizer. That proprioceptive exercises help my body understand how it’s supposed to move. I’m finally getting the instruction book for what works to get my body moving properly now. Would recommend this app to anyone who has no clue what to do after a hyper-mobile diagnosis. Worth every penny. The community is incredibly helpful too!

I had all but given up on exercise

Beckilynb on

United States

I have a dozen different pain related diagnoses. I had all but given up on exercise since it inevitably caused a pain flare. I have had this app for a month or more and the exercises are easy to do and don’t hurt. She even has things that you can do to help with sleep. There’s a forum to talk with other EDSers. It’s just a phenomenal app. If you’re hypermobile you need this app.

Impactful

Such an easy and informative way to get connected to those who struggle the same :,)

Uplifting community & safe exercise space

AColtell on

United States

This is the most uplifting chronic illness community I have ever found. The community has truly become my online family. I love all the resources and connections. And of course all the exercise videos are great! The Zebra Club (TZC) is the #1 thing that has helped me get back on my feet after a long flare. With the exercises and TZC’s motto “go low & slow” I have slowly brought strength and stability to my otherwise very hypermobile and POTSie body!

Hard Pass

Annersb80 on

United States

It’s disappointing that you’re required to pay before you’re able to even enter the app. Finding legitimate help managing hEDS is impossible. The fact that the developers require payment first indicates that they themselves do not suffer from Ehlers, this is a hard pass.

Help

Solyluna17 on

I absolutely love this app and everything it’s doing for me BUT I had someone steal my card info (not bc of the app) and had to get a new card. Well I thought since I added the new card to my apple wallet and removed the old one that it would automatically update the payment info for subscriptions, apparently not, ok fine no biggie, I updated it. Unfortunately the app won’t recognize that I’ve updated the payment info. It’s forced me to subscribe 5 times or so now and if I close the app I’m “not subscribed” again. Zebra club is listed as an active sub in my subscriptions list in my settings app now so everything should be good but unfortunately it’s not. So I logged out of the app and now it won’t let me log in, it wants me to subscribe again and set up a new profile, at this point I’m not gonna do that bc I’m afraid there’s gonna be multiple $16 charges I can’t afford show up on my account. When I went to app help there’s no option for a problem like this. Please help, I need this app, I cannot work due to my disabilities and cannot afford being accidentally overcharged due to a glitch. This app is wonderful and truly helpful but this is really upsetting and I need to do my exercises, if someone could please get in touch with me I’d really appreciate it
