Timemator: Time Tracking

Probably the main thing that's missing is the ability to add TAGS to your tracked time. Tags could be used for a whole bunch of use cases: client, project, type of work, etc. Organizing your timelines into folders is helpful, but not as flexible as tagging your time entries and then filtering the reports by those tags. Please, add that 🙏

I’ve purchased this app several times. On my computer, my iPad and my phone. That’s a nice chunk of change. But I guess it’s not good enough for the developer who decide to not allow the use of Family Sharing. 1 star for not supporting family sharing. Do that and I’ll revise my review.

I’ve been using Timemator for near 2 years and have the exact tools I need to invoice my customers. Plus: the developper is always listenning and answering to my feedback. Plus: export to CSV is working like a charm. Plus: it has a nice interface (very important things for me 😀).

I have tried many time tracking applications and this one has been the best. The developer has been very responsive. Highly recommended.

I’m finding bugs with the MacOS version of Timemator but my emails to the developers have gone unanswered. I’ve stopped using the app that I paid for since it’s unreliable for real work.

I noticed one day I had added 3 entires that they were all missing when I checked that evening. I added those same entries back in, and then noticed about 10 minutes later, Timemator automatically deleted them again. So I looked back over the last month, and noticed I have a lot less time entries than I know there should be. I shared this with the developer, shared a screen recording showing entries getting deleted without any interaction, and shared logs from the app. The developer never responded. This was over 3 months ago. I have no idea how much money this app has cost me, from it silently wiping out entries.

My roommate convinced me to start tracking my time since I have horrible time management. This is the app he uses and he’s a developer so he very picky. I love it so far!

You are a multiple b/millionaire company now that you associate with SetApp, yet the basics don’t work. I pause a task, it co tongues to run. I restart my phone, it continues. Stop innovating and focus on the basics.

Unfriendly to use and unpractical. I’m deleting it and closing the account, so better do not charge me after the trial, which I’m not even using it.

Kate’s update are live activities that are so big filled the timers just run and run and run even after you’ve hit pause. Customer support is non existent and every time I post a review, the developer gets it deleted. They’ve got time to do that, but not answer support emails from people who’ve paid them for crappy, bug filled software.
