Time’s Up! — Visual Timer

Focus timer & countdown clock

Published by: Overdesigned

Description

Time’s Up! is a fun, visual timer that you’ll actually want to use. Whether it’s for you, your kids, or someone else, Time’s Up! will make counting down much more engaging.
Timers can be used at work and at home, whether you’re making sure you take a break or telling kids it’s bedtime.  Timers exist everywhere, but none of them are fun and visually appealing — and that can be important when you’re dealing with kids big and small! Time’s Up! has the features you need to make time fun again — try it for free, NO ADS.
Time’s Up! isn’t just for kids and workaholics, though. The possibilities are endless:
• Adults who need to set timers to stop them from working for too long without a break.
• Kids who don’t want to do their homework but can be convinced to work in smaller chunks.
• Setting reading or other activity timers before bed time.
• Helping bigger kids focus on an activity for a set amount of time.
• Setting timers for exercises — put Time’s Up! on your TV screen using AirPlay and turn a timer into the focal point for your exercise group.
• Anything that’s based on a specific amount of time!
What makes a timer fun? Time’s Up! has 5 fun styles to choose from, including:
• “Reveal” a photo from your Photo Library as the seconds tick down.
• “Pixelate” makes a photo more clear as a timer gets closer to completion.
• “Puzzle” breaks a photo into jigsaw puzzle pieces and then puts the pieces into their places as time progresses.
Alternatively, there are more traditional clock faces if you just want a simple timer. Timers can be customized with their own alert sound and color, too.

Other key features include:
• Sync your timers between iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV using iCloud.
• See your timers on your Lock Screen, Dynamic Island, and Apple Watch with Live Activities (requires iOS 18).
• Guided Access to prevent kids from switching apps and changing timers, making sure only you have the power to control time.
• Airplay and tvOS support so you can put a timer up on a TV screen.
• Get audio updates each minute or countdown the last 10 seconds.
• On macOS, you can float the timer window above other apps so it’s always visible.
Time’s Up! is a free download with a simple one-time purchase that unlocks the ability to run an unlimited number of timers.

This is a great little app and its cute. A miss for me is that your cant do 30 second intervals, beyond the setting of 30 seconds only. I dont understand why. Why create a timer where you can only do 1 mintue intervals. Please update this and i will update my rating.

Love it

Been using this timer for 2 years now. I work online and need to have timed meetings. This allows me to park the timer in the corner of the screen where it's in my periphery and very easily keep track of time. I love the flexibility and the simplicity-- I don't need bells & whistles. In fact, I turn off the sound and just use it as a visual cue. Perfection.

Times up is a scam! BEWARE

It said I would be charged a one time fee of $4.99 then charged my bank account $47. Super lame!

Perfect for Classroom

I love this app for the classroom. So worth the extra money. It's a great visual for kids. They can better see the time disappearing as compared to the regular wall timer. Great for 5 minute warnings.

Happy User of this App

Hi, I'm 16 and I want to say that I'm incredibly satisfied with this app. It's simple and it offers an incredible deal to add images and use the timer as many as you want once you pay for the unlimited $4.99 deal. If you're looking for a minimalistic and intuitive visual timer, here it is, for yours truly. Plus, you can add different timers, change colors, and select any ringer sound. (Sadly, you can't add your own sounds). In my subjective opinion, I like that I can add any images in the clock, and seeing my favorite fictional character kind of motivates me more to persist any obstacles until the timer ends. Thank you kind developer, this is the best designed timer I can find that helps me focus and isn't complicated. :)

Simple, easy, perfect

Just what I needed, also visually better and less intrusive and boxy than other comparable apps, noticable but subtle.

Pretty good! Can you add these features? - Delete timers - Name timers - Have mutliple timers going at the same time

Good for kickstarting flow

Auraelius on

For me, the pomodoro method is a means to achieve flow. The timer sets up a contract that motivates me long enough for the work itself to capture my attention. These sort of timers have to be just barely noticeable if they are to help me maintain flow when the timer runs out and is no longer needed. If my concentration is high enough to focus, the timer should not interrupt me. This timer is the first to achieve that delicate balance -- it can be set to wiggle unobtrusively and quietly when time's up. It's the small things that count.

Helps kids with autism

techswife98 on

I work with young adults who have autism and this has really been a life saver as the kids I work with do not have any sense of time and they ask me all day long (often every 2 or 3 minutes) if it is time to go somewhere. I can show them the timer and that solves the problem. I love it that you can put in whatever picture you want. So if a friend is coming over I can add a picture of the friend. Or I can add a picture of her favorite animal.
