I first opened my account with Tomorrow during the Pandemic because I did an academic exchange in Germany and wanted a simple way to manage my money. I then came back to my home country and kept the account open with the little money that I had left after the year. During the course of two years I paid the monthly fee of the account without actually using it just because I liked the ideals of the bank and wanted to stick with/support them. I even recommended this bank to anyone I could. I am now back in Europe to study a masters degree and intended to use my Tomorrow account here in Italy, which is supposedly allowed. What I found is that out of the blue they decided to ask a lot of intrusive questions such as how much money was I going to spend in the next 12 months, a rental contract that would justify that I was going to be in their business zone for the next 12 months and so on. After submitting everything they asked for, they still closed my account. I am really disappointed that they didn’t care to receive my money for two full years when I was not using the account but now that I need it, then they don’t want me as a customer. Trust me, If I ever have the opportunity to discourage anyone from getting an account with Tomorrow, I will gladly do so.
