I love the TIU app, working out with a lot of girls, and being able to workout everywhere I go
I’m going into my third year on the app and I loved it until a few weeks ago when suddenly the app said to renew my subscription and had no access to workouts. I checked the website and my account is paid up until February 2025. I put in three ticket requests. Not really any help, just said if it’s through an App Store you have to deal with it there. It’s not. Then put a message through instagram and got a response asking for my email and nothing since. If it doesn’t get fixed soon I’m canceling and going over to Katrina’s app in January.
Used to be a TIU fan and after trying other fit apps outs thought I would give it a try again and I shouldn’t have purchased the year subscription. Felt like a waste of money. - CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT RESPOND BACK - Too glitchy / so many bugs need to be fixed: from updating favorites not working at times to editing workouts on the calendar working half the time - Not iOS friendly - The newer program workouts are so out of sync with the timer being displayed
What on earth is the issue with this app? 70% of the time it won’t even open, and when it does, it crashes instantly. Not worth the money. Sad, I used to be a Tone it Up fan.
This app does not work. I delete and redownload and it never loads. It sometimes will let me login but the. It doesn’t load the meal plan or excercises when I click it. It just turn to a white screen.
There’s a push for so many different pieces of equipment, way too many high intensity workouts (limited options for low impact), not my cup of tea anymore. I miss the Pilates on the beach workouts! Cancelled my subscription.
I’ve been a long time TIU customer, first of their DVDs and then of the app. Some years back the founders sold to a company who now runs TIU. Back in the day, you used to be able to contact customer service and get an actual reply. Now, no matter how many emails you send, they go unanswered. I’ve sent three emails in the past few months and just received the auto reply “We’ll be in touch soon, babe!” It’s so sad to see what has become of TIU. As for the workouts, they used to have such a reliable feel when it was Katrina and Karena. Now that Katrina has left, it’s a constant rotating door of instructors who lack the feel and consistency of the original TIU. It feels very generic. EDITED TO ADD: They have also started deleting any comments on their Instagram posts that are not glowing or favorable to them. I just had mine deleted when I questioned why customer service doesn’t respond and asked what happened to all of their products and protein powders. What is going on with this company??? And note their AI generated response below that doesn’t address anything I’ve mentioned.
I signed up for pregnancy workout and paid a year subscription. I wasn’t able to use it due to a pregnancy complication. Come almost a year, I am reminded that my subscription is going to renew but it’s not giving me any option to cancel. I messaged the customer service and it’s giving me a generic response. I resent the email and showed them the proof that there’s no option coming out of the settings in Apple. Basically, it’s either the customer service is blind or a robot.
I’ve been a tone it up member on and off for almost 7 years now and the app has definitely gone far but I wish it was more user friendly. The meal plans in full are still PDF and it doesn’t sync with my Apple Watch so if I jump into a workout and forget to set it up it doesn’t sync and I have to guess my calorie burn.
Have used this app for a few years and love the workouts. App can be a little buggy at times but overall works great and trainers are awesome.
