TonePrint

You do have to hold your phone close up against the pickups, like flat against them. But it IS like magic. And it’s nice to have a switch that sets the guitar pedal to a setting which works for you and your guitar. Forget all the hate and download! you won’t regret it!

This is the 5th time in a row I can’t get the toneprint to beam to the pedal no matter what I try. I can change them with the usb cable, but beaming toneprints with the phone rarely ever works. This is such an unreliable garbage way to try to change settings. Last toneprint pedal I’ll buy.

Absolutely worthless. It will not connect Flashback Triple Delay by Bluetooth to iPhone 14 Pro. It will not connect with usb to PC with Windows 10. It will not connect or store anything midi to Tech 21 MIDI Moose. Also, the blue text on the Flashback Triple Delay is tiny and illegible in all but bright white lighting. Worst delay pedal ever combined with the worst App ever make it completely worthless.

I use this on my bass head . I also use a few pedals tone print features are amazing.

Get this app! I really don’t know why there are all these terrible reviews. worked like magic for me very impressed. Super simple and easy, tons of free sounds.

Open Toneprint...2 seconds later...crash. Every single time. It has now been rendered useless!

Edit button is constantly greyed out/disabled despite having connection to the pedal through both the iPhone and desktop apps. So far so useless

These pedals are great and I haven’t had all the issues the people below have had with this app. Enjoy it and try it and then you tell me who’s the a@&&($ here?

There is no MASH mapping for 2290 algorithms though it says it should have a “hold” kind of an effect. The same happened with the MacOS app as well. There I can see that there is nothing mapped to the MASH switch.

TC Electronics really needs to focus on developing their TonePrint app so that it’s functional, or else just abandon the TonePrint concept altogether. Users need an way to transfer TonePrints between laptops, mobile devices, etc. What good is it to edit a TonePrint on the laptop but then not be able to copy it to my mobile device so that I have access to it while performing? We need to be able to tweak TonePrints in the library, not just those we make ourselves. The whole template idea could work if it were implemented better; too hit and miss when trying to find just the right template. They also need to fix their customer support. I’ve tried creating a MusicTribe account 4 times now with no success, and I’m a software engineer!
