Refuses to log me in

I’ve been facing issues with the Mastodon app so thought I’d try and alternative. But this one keeps asking me if I’ve blocked cookies and saying verification failed. I’ve tried disabling everything and it still throws up the same error.

Tootle seems to read the clipboard the moment the app is opened or launched, without an explicit “Paste” instruction. Please explain/fix this behaviour.
