Trace Teams

If you record the game with your phone camera, you get almost the same quality and range of footage, but without all the technological (hardware and software) difficulties. The video breakdowns and analytics are useless and arbitrary/random, and look like a gimmick to sell to soccer parents in the US.

This app is horrible to navigate. At every opportunity you are hit with messages and icons inviting you to upgrade. I already paid $180 and it’s definitely not worth what I paid for.

With there was a way to cast the games to a Tav rather than needing to use your iPhone and screen mirroring Pls update to allow casting options to TV Thank you

The team was excited to be able to watch themselves as were the families. The account issues the site and app have are horrendous. It’s so frustrating. The recordings are great if you can ever get to them. The ability to shift between players or just watch the entire game is so wonkie… the pro-account is a scam as it says you can download video but somewhere in fine print those videos are only available for less than 100 days unless you keep paying for a pro subscription which doesn’t even work for family members. The app is easy to record and the camera is fine, but if the account access is so muddled it doesn’t really matter how great the recording is. Support is only available via email, so good luck there. My team and the families are truly frustrated and when demanding our money back, via email because there is no one to call, it’s crickets. Pass on this waste of money!

I was ranting and raving of how great trace was and their superior analytic, camera, ease of use, casting to the tv, full video, and playback. All of that has been either deleted from the app or changed so the function just don’t work. They changed a good thing and I can’t fathom why they would do so. I don’t know if it’s a money grab but the analytics are horrible. It just doesn’t work. We have a full team complain about things not working correctly. For example, the video playback, I don’t want just clips of random times my kid touched the all, I want what led up to the play, where other players are coming in from, what type of attack was formed, trace only has clips. I’ve searched high and low on this app and nothing. I would also like to watch teammates to know their tendencies, but that option is also not deleted from the app. Analytics before the update had speed, miles run, stamina, heat map. The new update , I don’t know, this app is horrible. Casting doesn’t work. I’m just at a lost of words. Our whole team got the pro subscription. Didn’t realize that they had an update. Wish I could’ve seen the app before committing to it because it’s unusable. My other team uses the veo and although it’s a bit rudimentary, it’s light years ahead in usability. How sad for me to write this because I was such a believer in the app. Probably got 3-4 teams who were on the fence for a camera to go with trace over veo off my recommendation. And here we are. Feel sorry for em now Hate the trace camera now

Trace won't return calls with customer issues - only if you haven't subscribed yet. Be wary. It hasn't worked since I ordered it, and I'm ready to send it back. Posting as a warning to potential customers.

App just doesn’t work and doesn’t have a single button. It is disfunctional and it’s impossible to connect the camera. Missed the first game of the season. What a waste of money.

I’ve had to reinstall the app multiple times, I cannot connect the camera because there is no option for me to start a new game on the app

I am fairly tech savvy, but spent most of the day trying to setup a camera or create a game using the app. Had no luck with both since the app appears to be dysfunctional.
