Train Fitness for Apple Watch

Automatic Workout Tracker

Published by: Train Fitness

Description

Train Fitness is the first app to offer automatic exercise tracking, using only the motion of your Apple Watch. Trusted by 100,000+ weight lifters, Train Fitness is the future of AI + gym workouts.
Our application monitors the motion of your Apple Watch, tracking reps for over 470 unique exercise types – completely hands free! Our app will track push ups, bicep curls, 12 types of bench press, squats, deadlifts, and hundreds more! No more manually logging each set.
This automatic tracking is made possible by our patented Neural Kinetic Profiling, an advancement in AI that allows workout tracking using wrist motion.
Unsure what to do at the gym? Using the Train Fitness app, you can generate workouts based on your recovery, goals, and fitness data with the help of AI. Our Smart Weights system will recommend specific workout plans, exercises, sets, and weight… entirely customized to you! Let artificial intelligence build the best possible workout for you, and stop guessing what to do at the gym.
We built Train Fitness because we too are lifters, gym enthusiasts, & fellow athletes, and we're tired of entering a workout log, manually. We believe that a gym workout tracker should be as easy as recording a run, and we’ll stop at nothing to get there. The Train Fitness App is an all-encompassing workout log app that tracks how you move and helps you achieve your strength training goals at the gym. Simply strap on your Apple Watch, and see the magic unfold.
Our application runs on the Apple Watch 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, SE, Apple Watch Ultra, and Apple Watch Ultra 2. Unfortunately, we do not support the Apple Watch 1, 2 and 3.
We are very serious about data. Train Fitness will never sell your data to third parties. Our data storage practices are designed to enhance user experience without compromising privacy. We only retain the essential data needed for a seamless experience. Please see our Privacy Policy & Commitment below for more details.

Train Fitness for Apple Watch Reviews

Amazing, but missing suspension trainers

CC1900. on

United States

This is an amazing app and it is pretty accurate. I’m excited for when they add more and more exercise exercises that are automated and identifying accounting for you. I really wish they had suspension trainer exercises preloaded into the app. You can add your own, but it would just be nicer if they were already in there.

Work in progress.

Hopeful for the future for this app.

Easy to see workout app and make your Apple watch similar like Garmin watch workout functionality

Toyotarav4 on

I am a casual gym goer. I had a garmin watch which does rep count automatically. When I switched to Apple I started using this app. This is really good better than garmin rep count and I love it. It made my life easier. Great app.

Very, good very good app on

United States

Very good track my workout good track the weights a little bit off, but it is good. You can just adjust it. The reps are good and it’s super easy to use.

Fraud

Do not download app. They will charge you without consent for a yearly subscription after you download the app.

Best App Out there

Josh Christo on

United States

I am not lying when I say that, for the time this is the best app I feel is out there. Reps and weight are easy to change. Love the customization options/ templates you can make. I will say they need to have more experienced people say what is being worked in an exercise or that you can change it yourself without having to make your own, because things like a dumbbell lateral raise should not say your working your actual lats that’s pretty laughable. With that said, leagues above everything else out right now.

Latest update

Siddaki on

United States

I’ve been using this app since June 2024. It has been my main workout counter/companion app. If there were any issues the staff communicated pretty quickly and well. I would’ve given this app 5 Stars if not for the latest update that forces you to pay for “Train Pro” in order to see more than your workouts for the past week… a feature that was free before this update. For me the metrics/ trends tab was my second most used function since I wanted to keep track of how many sets/reps I do of certain workouts. I still think this is a good app but to change that setting is rather disappointing to say the least.

Amazing

This is probably thee best app ever, i love how it either knows what exercises im doing or has a idea on how heavy im lifting

Excellent App

Both an excellent app and top notch product support. They are quick to respond with a question or issue. I’ve been using the free version but getting ready to pay so I can get additional templates as I get a home functional trainer to go with my in-gym workout. I like how it detects most of the workouts (except lower body but makes sense since no sensor on legs). It is fairly accurate in counting reps and it alarms on a desired rest times. Definitely has helped me manage/progress in my workouts.

Auto detect more like auto delete

Joe Is Black on

United States

The app looks great. The library of exercises is well stocked short instructional videos. The auto detect/AI feature is the bane of my existence. If you deviate from your template or don’t use Freeform you have to be very careful that you don’t lose your workout session. I’ve had connectivity issues between my watch app and phone app and today was the last straw. I lost my workout session. Even though I’ve already paid for a yearly membership I’m deleting the app and going back to Setograph. For reference I’m using a 15 Pro Max and Ultra 1 watch so I do not believe it’s a device issue.
