I have been using the Trala app for over a year and I cannot recommend it enough. The app is incredibly user-friendly, and the virtual teacher is knowledgeable, patient, and supportive. Thanks to Trala, I was able to learn the violin in a relatively short amount of time. The app has truly exceeded my expectations and has made learning a new instrument fun and enjoyable.
I’ve so been wanting an app to practice my scales that I started writing one myself. While watching a lecture on pitch detection algorithms I heard about this app and it is exactly what I wanted. Thanks!
Just wanted to put this out there. I pay $60 for an hour of violin class. $157 for a year is so cheap this app is a dream.
To pay $150 A YEAR- Just to play infront of a phone for feedback IS JUST GROSS- The "teachers" Only work up to a certain point and are barley profesionals... If you want to lear violin just buy a beginer violin, Like $200 and get a yamaha basics book, Wich is like $215 all together and way better then this crap
I was always intimated by the difficulty of violin, and had heard it was too late for an adult to start. But eventually bought a violin and installed this app and got very impressed with how Trala has made it easy and fun to learn. I have a busy schedule but having spend 10 hours a week for only two weeks, I can see a huge progress. What makes Trala more amazing is that you’re not just dealing with an app, but being checked on by an actual AWESOME instructor! I’d like to particularly thank Geoffrey Dolce, for all his help and fantastic feedback!!!!
I love this app!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!so good so good j
I like the app and highly recommend this app for beginners. Yes, there's subscribing fee, for about 6.5 dollars (after taxes in Ontario) a week or 100 something a year. But how much you are willing to pay for a face to face in classroom lesson plus your transportation every week? Also consider the quality of teaching are different and as a beginner you cannot tell. Those all the potential costs and potential time waste. But self-learning apps - I believe this is the future way of learning/ teaching. The app is high quality with real professionals teach you from beginning, step by step. Besides, the app developer is updating it very frequently and when you start to use this app, you will join a community of violin learners similar to your level, and there is a zoom open class every week now with famous musicians and violin professionals providing you free online lectures. At least try the free trial if you are not sure about it. And you can stop subscribing anytime. I spend even more money on games (a Nintendo switch game will take roughly 70 dollars) and I learn not a thing from those games. I think this example maybe suitable for you as well. So, think about it, really. :)
