Description

Trala helps you learn violin at any age, from anywhere.
Here’s how it works:
VIOLIN LESSONS FOR BUSY PEOPLE
We’ll connect you with the right teacher, someone who understands your goals and makes you actually want to practice. Zoom lessons let you squeeze in violin between meetings, after school, or when the family has gone to bed.
GROUNDBREAKING TECHNOLOGY AND INSTANT FEEDBACK
When you’re not in a lesson, Trala uses signal processing, cutting edge technology that analyzes the sound of your violin and gives you instant feedback on pitch and rhythm every time you practice. When you play the wrong notes, we’ll help you get back on track.
CURRICULUM BUILT BY CONCERTMASTERS AND ROCKSTARS
Learn violin by playing the music you love - whether that’s Bach, Britney (Spears), Bluegrass, or (Bela) Bartok. Stay motivated between lessons with the world’s largest library of violin videos and exercises featuring folks like Joshua Bell, Katie Jacoby (The Who), and Kiana June Weber.
BUILT-IN VIOLIN TUNER
Trala’s in-app violin tuner provides high-precision tuning while teaching you the skills to tune by ear. During your first violin lesson, your teacher will show you how to quickly get in tune with Trala’s violin tuner.
EXPANSIVE SHEET MUSIC LIBRARY
Trala’s interactive sheet music library will teach you 500+ beloved songs, from Happy Birthday to Bach partitas. With the help of your Trala teacher, learn to play folk, blues, Celtic fiddle, classical, and jazz sheet music. Want to learn a song that’s not in the app? Tell your Trala teacher, and they’ll provide you with the sheet music.
TRALA’S MISSION

I love it started from beginning and add the lessons little by little. And even though I’m the beginner I can tune violin by myself too.

Low pay for teachers

ViolinEugene on

Trala offers $35 an hour to the teachers. I understand that it would take a bit more effort to find a local good violin teacher but it would be benefitial for parties involved. Presently a lot of great teachers offer zoom lessons. Cut out the middle guy

Great App for adult learners

Mojo-gone on

I recently had my first lesson and the instructor was very helpful and encouraging. It was a wonderful learning experience. The app is user friendly and easy to navigate. I do however have a few suggestions to make it even better. It would be great if the learner had the ability to select a segment of a song/lesson to repeat rather than having to play the entire piece allowing the learner to focus on a difficult segment. It would also be nice if the library of songs, over 500, were listed based on difficulty such as levels 1-4. Or very easy, easy, moderate, advanced/difficult. This would allow the learn the chance to choose alternate pieces to practice newly learned skills.

Awesome

This app is soooooo good. Pay no mind to other reviews. They’re lying to you. What I did I reserved an afternoon just for practice. I went through the whole app without the app asking me to pay. Since I was in school break I was able to do it. I’d recommend this app to everyone. Thank you Trala!!!!!!!

The app itself is pretty good. I would have kept using if it had the actually songs from Suzuki.

This app allows you to learn Instrumentes very easily without trials or paying up! Others would have me to pay $120 a year! Seeing this, I think everyone needs to use this app. I even gave it a 5 star review. This helped me a lot, specially that I needed to learn the violin. Great “bonus” AMAZING app to use please do🤍🤍
