Doesn’t deliver what the name suggests
When scanning a QR code the app merely displays the product description, return policy etc. The title of the app led me to believe the info would include provenance, emissions, statement modern slavery, disposal/recycling instructions etc… That would be much more useful than repeating what is already printed on the box.
Great idea but easy to manipulate
I bought a product from amazon which had the transparency logo. I used the app to verify the product. The product box clearly stated the specifications which showed the product was an older model. But when i checked it with the transparency app, it showed the product to be the new model (which was not sent to me). The seller/manufacturer clearly put the sticker for new model on the box of old model. Extremely disappointed with this find.
