trivago: Compare hotel prices

First time using this app. I booked a room and after I confirmed they charged me $102.56 in fees that were not listed before I hit confirm. We travel a lot using Priceline and Expedia never had that problem with them.

I find unacceptable that after confirming a reservation for the Fontanblue hotel in Las Vegas and charging the amount to my credit card I was informed hours later that, due technical issues, the reservation could no be completed. I do not recommend using this platform if you are looking for a reliable experience

The ads are misleading and hard to navigate the website.

I have been scammed while booking through trivago, there are Scam companies like Holisto, Traverulo and Algotels, that post very good prices to be ahead of everyone else, you are able to do the booking and 3 days later they call the hotel and cancel your reservation, leaving you with no reservation and no money… and trivago only tell you that they are not responsable for the booking partners… they should be ashamed of allowing scam schemes to work through their platform. I booked through them because I thought it was safe, but it’s not. It’s not safe at all to book through trivago they’re not responsible for anything
