The t:simulator™ App is an easy way to explore the simple touchscreen interface of the t:slim X2™ Insulin Pump from Tandem Diabetes Care, no prescription or insurance verification required! Whether you’re a person living with diabetes, a relative or caregiver, or a healthcare provider, we make it simple to explore the t:slim X2 Pump’s features on your mobile device.

THIS APPLICATION IS FOR DEMONSTRATION PURPOSES ONLY. IT SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR THERAPY DECISIONS.

• Explore and simulate Control-IQ™ technology and Basal-IQ™ predictive low glucose suspend technology
• Simulate bolus calculations and delivery (standard, quick and extended)
• Create and name up to six different Personal Profiles with customized basal rates, carb ratios, correction factors, and target glucose levels

It’s now February 2023 and we still don’t have t:connect in Canada please bring it NOW

T:simulator app & pump review

This app is absolutely useless. The actual tandem x2 slim pump (w/ basal IQ) is an amazing pump for T1 diabetics and with dexcom! Tandem has YouTube videos that are much more versatile in understanding this pump however I strongly recommend training with a diabetic educator (either from your clinic or via tandem team).

Canadian release

I was told at the beginning of 2020 that the companion app would be released in Canada ‘soon’. It’s been a year and still no new news.

Could be good

I really wish that tandem would release the Bluetooth so that you can control the insulin pump via Bluetooth on your phone, much like this app shows you how to control the pump it would be ideal for those who are blind or visually impaired to be able to control the actual pump via Bluetooth so that they too could use a insulin pump with screen reader technology.
