Very good go app. It would be able to quickly train your life and death skills. Other than that it trains your tsumego and tesuji skills.
Great way to learn life or death as a beginner
Nice enough interface, plenty of puzzles, barebones. Agree with other reviews that I could use a little more than a “correct” sometimes, e.g. when the answer is seki: I’m usually pretty sure it’s supposed to be seki, but it would be nice to get a confirmation. Or “your solution is seki, but it’s possible to live/kill.”

I very much agree with goodtutor’s review. I like the daily problems and the right or wrong feedback. The app is very clean and an appealing space to solve problems. However, it would be so very nice if there was some sort of feedback on why a problem reaches the “solved” state. I do think the app is useful “as is” to learn patterns in the game. It does enable the user to learn to recognize given patterns and associated responses. I also like that additional possible actions are considered. Each problem is designed to lead you down the best path, but you can take alternative actions that help the user understand possible outcomes.
Idiotic app says actual checkmate moves are "wrong". Never explains why. So stupid.
I don’t know if anyone else has this problem but some of the problems that appear on the new problems page are incorrect. When I figure out the problem such that it says solved, I would continue with white and I don’t see a way for the problem to be solved for black. Not sure what that’s about, and pretty annoying
Clean and lightweight app. No bloat or pushy pay-to-play features, and I really like that it lets you play out scenarios after you've solved or failed a puzzle to figure out why.
I like the daily puzzles but only 150 starting puzzles isn’t enough
