Description
TvhClient will enable your iPhone or iPad to easily perform your TVHeadend common daily tasks and allow you to watch your channels on your device.
TvhClient allows you to remotely control the TVHeadend server - a DVB receiver, DVR and streaming server.
The app relies on real-time data it retrieves from the TVHeadend server allowing you to accomplish several tasks, including:
* view the channel's streaming video in-app or launch a third party video application,
* list channels,
* view channel's EPGs,
* search by program title,
* start, schedule and playback recordings (DVR),
* check alternative times for any show scheduled,
* view the log / status of the server
* browse your muxes and playback any of them without a channel
Supported Tvheadend versions: 3.2 and up.
Transcoding is supported in TVHeadend 4.x versions using TVHeadend's profiles.

The app supports sending video stream url directly to: VLC, Oplayer, Buzz Player, GoodPlayer, Ace Player, nPlayer and remotely to Kodi (TvhClient does not support passwords in webinterface!). If you know other apps that work well with TVHeadend and want them added, contact me via e-mail.

What’s missing (for me anyways) is the option to change auto recordings. (Date frequency, and expected time range) This can be done through webui, however this is a pain in the....

Great App with Good Features!
Most advanced TVHeadend Client for iOS and tvOS. The App has options to add multiple TVHeadend Servers, has great Recording Features and supports Native iOS Player and Hardware Acceleration for Smooth Streaming. One other important thing: The App is well maintained and regularly updated!

Very good app
Very nice app to control your TVHeadend server. Good, clear layout. I was still using TVhRemote but this one is a lot better.
Grundsätzlich gut aber mit Verbesserungspotenzial
Auf der Apple TV finde ich die Ansicht der Kanäle etwas schlecht gelöst. Es wäre besser man könnte wie auf der iOS Version in Kanal-Gruppen gehen. Es gibt zwar eine Sortierung nach Gruppen. Es werden aber immer alle Kanäle gezeigt. So muss man teilweise elend lang scrollen. Bei manchen Kanälen gibt es auch ein Problem mit dem 5.1 Ton.
Alternativlos
Bei tvOS Version wird leider die Audio Delay Einstellung nicht gespeichert. Ansonsten der bester Tvheadend Client für den Apple Tv.
